Drill, to a degree has to be ‘shoot em up bang bang gang gang’ because the base of a drill song is not how it sounds, but the lyrics in it. If you listen to a 2019 Pop Smoke beat, it’s not the same as a Chief Keef beat from 2013 because it’s all about the lyrics. This beat is like a 2019 Pop Smoke beat with an R&B mix like you said, Pop made ‘drill shit’ because he’s talking about drilling.
