I've been listening to this song and the whole End Credits EP since it came out and I was in high school. Now I'm 26. Man time flies by fast but good memories have been made. Hopefully the same is true for all you fellow Eden fans
EDEN got me through the darkest period of my life. I remember going to crisis and my nearest psychiatric hospital more times than i can count and whenever my parents would pick me up and the guards would give my belongings back, he was the first thing I would look for. His music on the way back home with tears in my eyes hoping things would get better and that my life would be so much more than just doctors, meds, therapy, coping, and breaking down. He made me sad and angry and hopeful all at the same time with his music. Thank you EDEN. I made it and some part of it was thanks to his art.
It's EDEN, I literally liked the video and added it to my playlist before listening through the song. Because I knew this was gonna be good, that's just how EDEN works.
These lyrics are nothing but exemplary. The words that EDEN and Leah use are binding and contrasting, all at once - it brings to light the pain and power of love and life. Personally my favorite album is vertigo but i have listened to every single song by him and love them all. that’s so special to me because i have never fell in love with an artist before and actually enjoyed all their songs. This was my close friend's favorite song. He actually was just obsessed with EDEN's music and he got me to start listening. I remember his last night here...we were both in a Discord call just listening to all of EDEN's song on repeat for almost eight hours. Five hours later I woke up to a call saying that he had suicided...Im not truly over his death and I dont think I will be any time soon, but this song helps...he really just wanted to get away from his toxic life...moving on with life after losing someone you cared about and shared everything with feels like an uphill battle.

On our last day of school, our class received a note from our class president wishing us a happy summer, but on the back there was a quote from her on it. I later found that the same quote was in her bio on one of her social media’s. Just today, I found that the last line of this song is that same quote, a year or two later. I just want to say, if she sees this, I hope you’re no longer suffering and that there are many people who miss you and think about you. I’m sorry we never became true friends, and I’m sorry I never recognized your suffering. Rest easy.
I'm sorry to hear that. I... sadly can relate. I used to relate this song to fatalistic worldview. I caved and crashed. I almosy gave in to drugs and let the end credits roll. But... as Eden says, you can wish away forever buy you'll never find a thing for today. I learned to live for the time being, and I promised myself I won't mind when the good times are over, and I had to face reality. Then I picked up on love; not wrong. I grew into something more than me, even though I'm still in the middle of a one way war. I wish I could've been there for your friend. Because all we ever want is sunlight and honesty anyways.

I'm sorry to hear that. I... sadly can relate. I used to relate this song to fatalistic worldview. I caved and crashed. I almosy gave in to drugs and let the end credits roll. But... as Eden says, you can wish away forever buy you'll never find a thing for today. I learned to live for the time being, and I promised myself I won't mind when the good times are over, and I had to face reality. Then I picked up on love; not wrong. I grew into something more than me, even though I'm still in the middle of a one way war. I wish I could've been there for your friend. Because all we ever want is sunlight and honesty anyways.
I truly believe that this song captures the hearts of music lovers.

Is it me or does Eden always start his songs off sad asf but then he hits you with that upbeat tempo and boom you feel so much joy...
This is still the only song that I can relate too, like seriously I don't feel completely happy or just somewhat adventurous or confident without this song. I'm so happy I discovered EDEN
