Currently, the world extend is more worth it than the singles collection (memory archive). Honestly (this is my opinion) the best pack to get if your a beginner tryna get an 11 super soon, I suggest Eternal Core as it has the easiest 11 to get in the game, but some people think Grevious Lady is easier to get than Prag R, which I understand but yknow, also it only requires a few other packs to get Here's my list of what I think are the easiest to hardest 11's to get: Pragmatism Resurrection, Grevious Lady, Saikyo Stronger, Aegleseeker, Fracture Ray, Tempestissimo And thats all but i think it mostly matters on your skill
I would say vicious labyrinth is still good, because it allows you to unlock tairitsu grievous lady Which allows you to progress through world mode faster if you play that (which i do)

personally, I'd say (in 2024), Black Fate is the best pack to get because while it has some very hard songs, it's necessary to get better at the game (for example if you're pretty good at PRS tracks, you could go for PRS in Black Fate, then do FTR in the free pack, then change to FTR in Black Fate. also, Tempestissimo (the hidden song) can basically only be unlocked if you're an experienced player, so this is a good training for experienced players as well. Yes, it doesn't provide you with any partners and in case of Tempestissimo BYD (maybe FTR but not sure), you need the partner [Fracture] Hikari which you can only get upon purchasing Luminous Sky. However, playing this pack (for me at least), would provide the most fun along with Esoteric Order, and this is necessary to not have big/any problems grinding in the future.
I feel like all the packs are begginer friendly because of past, so idk how Eternal Core is more friendly than other packs. I would suggest just buying packs with songs you like, as when you progress you will like having harder songs anyway, so difficulty should not stop you. Another tip is to look at every pack slowly and carefully to make sure you buy the best pack, as some of them have partners or other things that might help you, so watching a few videos on the pack's songs or characters will help you figure out what pack is best for you. And give side, collab, and the archive and world extend a chance! there are some very good songs in them, so don't consider them worse than the story ones. I like alot of those more than the actual story ones, like Absolute Reason, or the Chunitm Collab packs.
Im new to the game, my potential around 9.4 is this normal? I barely knew this mechanism cuz i turned it off from the setting (which i didnt knew what that thing was) anyway should i unlock eternal core first or can i unlock crimson solace (cuz i want kou so bad)?
as a newbie(kinda) i used my anniv ticket with Binary Enfold because it has 8 songs and 2 partners. but since i'm very interested with the whole story, now i'm planning to buy them in sequence, because i barely understood the story in Binary Enfold haha. anyways if you're more fond in the song than the story, i recommend Esoteric Order, Ephemeral Page and Sunset Radiance. i prefer most of their songs, you can watch some previews here in yt, just search the title of the song pack ^^ i hope this helps.
Absolute reason has some of the best songs and charts in the game, not super difficult and very fun. Look up gameplay of all the packs and see what looks the most fun to you, also what songs you enjoy the most bc youll get the most out of those. Ik many ppl like sunset radiance bc it’s easy an has good songs too.

Absolute Reason has the hardest level 8 song on side story pack, I actually prefer Ephemeral Page, it has the easiest songs in the game, since it's the easiest charting is just normal, Jump! Is level 9 but for me it's 8.8 or 8.9 difficulty it's super easy for new players like you, but if you want good songs and charts yes Absolute Reason is best choice especially Cyaegha.
