Construction colonists PRIORTIZE removing roof over deconstructing stuff for this exact reason, you can safely designate remove roof area with deconstruction queued.
Loving the series, although you may never get back to fatsunea, this content is better. I'm really looking ford to watching the rest of the series within minutes of the videos uploading
The amount of factions he puts in the game is more necessary than I thought. Vanilla expanded- insectoids + Rimwar very quickly ended up with the Insectoid hive killing all but the settlements on the fringe of the map. Before I even got to fabrication all my enemies, allies, neutral had all their settlements overrun.
I love how fast you disseminate information it's quite relaxing.

@trmplays please reconsider using Run & Gun and mountable horses (if ur still using it) those are way too op, enemy is never using them, so it is huge advantage and AI is just not designed to play that way
The item that can heal all forms of lesser damage and all serious damage is a Healer Mech Serum, rare and expensive, it only heals ONE effect at a time.
At least it lasted more than 3 ep

Pake was near unkillable because of the 0% colonist instant kill in the custom difficulty settings, he was ignoring pain due to go-juice, so he kept taking damage, of which a lot was cancelled because it would result in an instant kill.
happy new year trm, loving the series, also you could use that cave in front of your base as a trap and finish raids by heatstroke, with those muffalos it would have done wonders

Try disabling the friendly fire mod. I found that it creates a load of lag when big groups of ranged enemies charge for some reason.

Pake being unable to die is due to your in game setting of no random colonist death
It completely nullifies damage if it were to kill the colonist
I think if you get the mod that prevents death from too many injuries, it'll fix that

If you don't want the roof to collapse when you remove the walls, set a remove roof area and take down the roofs first.

It might reduce lag if you go to your task manager while the game is running, go to Details > Right Click the Rimworld.exe > set priority to Realtime. It will dedicate as many cores as the game needs to run efficiently.
It's fine to reload saves to try something cool as long as you are honest about what you are doing.
hopefully you either get into save our ship this series or start the next one in a ship/station or maybe a multiplayer series

I tried your mod list but every loading screen takes like 10 mins. I really like playing with a ton of mods but it kills my mood to wait. I'm not autistic enough to go through the list testing which mods add a ton of loading time.
There's a mod to do that for you. I believe it's called startup impact. Just do a quick google search
