How Bad is Dark Souls 2?

Its pretty bad lol. This game really tries to expand on the dark souls series by being simpler, but it just went way too far. Overall its a fine game, but it doesn't compare at all to dark souls 1, and probably not to dark souls 3 either. Very happy to not have to play this game again, this thing was a snooze fest the entire time through.

I really dont understand how you can blame the game that it won't sometimes let you just run through and the enemies catch you at the fog gate. If you're not paying attention, dont fight a single enemy then get chased by all the enemies in the entire area because you're blindly running at unknown territory then its completely normal if it doesnt work.

I don't like DS2 half as well as I would like, and I've played half as much of it as it deserves.
