Of all the Pokit GB stroller review, this is the best review. Not only she pointed out the metal part behind the front wheel will get stuck when going down 1 stairs, she also came up with the strap idea to make the stroller easier to carry around. Thumbs up.
Excellent Review. You covered everything and highlighted a good few things that maybe this company should have thought through before. I'm looking at the pockit plus which now has a recline feature but still no carry strap. I will use your technique with the luggage strap to overcome this little problem. Thank you for a great review.
Thank you for this! I wanted to get a new easy travel stroller but debating on this one. For me looks like I will have issue with this one rather than it just folds up easy. Thank you again
Hi raraspunk - yes, it actually did do OK on cobblestone. As I mention in the video the front wheels do shimmy around a lot but strangely enough it doesn't seem to affect the steering. You can lock out the front wheels but that made moving up and down curbs and steering around people much more difficult. No stroller is going to be *amazing* on cobbles (I don't think), but this one handled them just fine. Several times I *ran* over the cobbles because my daughter found it so fun and the stroller managed that too. Definitely recommend this for the planes and trains and even fitting it in a rental car with all your other luggage. As I mention in the video, be sure to fold it before the gate agents see it so you don't have to fight to take it as a carry-on:-)
Great review! We've had it for half a year and its been on a plane, subway, train, cruise ship and on city streets. The $250 is pricey but you can put this in a backpack and never have a baggage handler throw this around, that was peace of mind. Small but great for our 6 month old on our cruise ship. used a cover for the sun and for naps. seat can be unstrapped and hand washed. would recommend a good dark and breathable cover. two hands to open and close can be annoying and hanging items behind the baby on the handle is limited to its light weight.
You're welcome! It really did make carrying the stroller much easier. It's only 9 1/2 lbs, but carrying that in your hand for any length of time gets pretty tiring - especially if you have a toddler in the other...
Hi, thanks for the great review. We read that this stroller comes with no rain cover (and it's not available as an optional purchase either). May we ask if you have found a workaround for this?
I just bought one at Target in store, not on line...for $179. I have a little issue with the right front wheel...i just bought it, so i'm practicing the folding part.
We are going to Italy in the fall for a month. Did it really do ok on cobblestone streets? we will be on planes and trains and renting a car for one portion.
was your toddler comfortable? my youngest is 6 months soon to be 7 months and id worry about how comfy she would be with things like cobblestones. how do you combat weather? or is it something you would use sparingly just for holidays for example great review and thank you for doing one. that strap idea is amazing
Sarah, my toddler was fine - but she was 20 months old, not 7 months. This is definitely less "cushy" than your standard stroller, and we bought it to be a travel and transitional stroller for a toddler and not an "everyday" stroller for a baby. We went out in the rain in it - my daughter just wore full rain gear (pants and jacket) and she was fine.
Oh really? That's good to know. I assumed it was a Tall Person's Problem but I guess not. I imagine maybe the handles (which are at a good angle for me, if I could reach them) might also be at not such a great angle for you.
By far the most useful review of the GB pockit stroller I have seen

I swear this was the most authentic review ever
Great review! Best one so far for the Pockit. Thank you!

I know this is a bad time for you to find out, but I bought mine at Target for $179.
thanks for sharing friend
Thank you so much for the shoulder strap idea! I'm going to try it :)

+Jen Lumanlan yes, thank you very much for the shoulder strap idea!!! 👍

Fran Del hi. Yes, the fabric is easily removable and washable. Check other videos about the stroller on the subject. It is superb!
Good video. How do u wash the fabric? Can it be taken out easily?

If you are trying it on a plus it will not work. I just tried it on my Pockit plus it only work for the original because the hood is different
United Airlines now accepts this and other pocket strollers. Types listed on website.

we will have a ten month old

Way late. But thanks for advice on going down curb and how to make it easy carry
very useful video. thankyou!
I'm only 5'4" and I still find the bars quite low. Like you I end up pushing the stroller using the middle bar a lot.

Thanks so much for this video, VERY helpful, just one question, how did you get your toddler to wait while you folded it up with two hands?!
I said "Please stand right here next to me," and she did.
