I for one welcome the death of isekai. Nothing takes me out of what little immersion a japanese anime can offer on a medieval setting than a generic looking knight without his helmet taking out a fucking dead space hologram display and breaking down for me what level his abilities are and what level his opponents are. We are finally leaving the dark ages

Probably not because unlike **some** Isekai. Dungeon Meshi is original and probably has to use a lot of creativity😂
No because at it's core it's a power fantasy, if it gets boring people will just go through tower, regression, cultivation, otome isekai, and parodies
It's not really an Isekai, tho. They all live there. No one world hopped.
