So I hunt wooded areas with a 12gauge shotgun. Do you think this light will work good in the woods hunting coyotes and how far do you think it will shine in trees? I will be sitting on the ground

Light’s won’t treat you well in the woods. Great for open fields but the coyotes will catch the disruption in light when the trees block the light beam.

By chance what model is this? The link doesn’t work anymore. I’m trying to look at the difference of the 2025 or the 2069 seeing which one would be better seems to me like the only difference I could see is the battery’s I’m not to sure though

Is this light good for hunting hogs? Which color LED is the best, Red, Green or White? Can hogs see this light?

I think red would be best because it is for coyotes. I don’t have hogs anywhere near me so never hunted them. They are about 3 states away.

Hey just watched your vid and was very helpful. Just have one question how much lumens does the headlamp have?

Thanks for watching! I actually went back and looked and can’t seem to find it printed anywhere so not real sure.

HoosierHunter thanks for the reply and just from your perspective can u estimate roughly how bright it was? If not its okay I'm just trying to do research to know if this is the light for me. Anyways thanks for your time.👍

Thanks for the review, especially the outdoor footage, that showed what I was hoping to see! Just ordered one of these lights and am hoping to get to use it before the season for fox is over here next week!

HoosierHunter I'm thinking of buying one. I have a question does the light interfere if I plan to use it with scope on my ar15? Meaning does the light flash into scope making it hard to shoot or no?

Joe Gonzalez I only use mine for scanning. Once I locate the eyes, I slowly start to get the weapon light ready. I think with some practice you could offset the light on your head a little to the side so when you put your eye up to the scope the light is out of the way. 👍

Would this be good for walking to the tree stand in the morning?

    • @HoosierHunter
      @HoosierHunter  7 лет назад +1

You can dim it down quite a bit so yes, it would work. If that’s all you will be using it for, it would be overkill. But, if you use if for coyote hunting and walking to your stand both, it’s great.

HoosierHunter got it. Would plan to use it for scanning and walking to stands, both coyote and deer. Thanks!

Great review, thanks for sharing! This would be great for walking in the dark for Thurmal hunting as to not alarm the animals!

I've seen a lot of your reviews, and was wondering if you would give me a recommendation on what you think the best light would be for me as far as coyote/predator hunting would go. I am willing to spend around 150$

Appreciate you watching my videos. For hands free scanning, I would definitely go with the ScanProiC from Wicked Lights. If you don’t want a head mounted light, go with the Wicked Lights 403iC. You definitely want something that you can adjust the intensity settings on. Good luck 👍

Heck yeah looks like that'll do for scanning no doubt.

Sure will. The video doesn’t do it justice. It’s much brighter in person.
