No matter where we live, there are always pros & cons. Be open minded, set up your goal, and execute it. Most of my friends I know here, they pay off their home mortgage within 10 to 15 years. Standard of Living here is very high but if you know how to budget your financial, you can live a very comfortable life. There are countless benefits and programs to help people who need help. For retirement people, there will be social security benefits, 401k, IRA, medicare / medicaid and long term care for those who choose to go there. I feel so sad when I see elderly people who are still selling fruits and begging money on the street without any government programs. For me personally, I left Khmer in 1979 to seek a freedom country and a better life. I have no regret. I visit Cambodia every year since my retirement at 55 with my pension benefits but I would not return to live there. There is always an option in life. I've been traveling to see the world. No matter how much we make, we will never have enough. Earth will lend us a grave. Heaven will lend us a soul. Cheers from Khmer in the US!
Thanks for sharing. You give a lot of good advice. It is true that if we want a better life, we need to have a better plan no matter where we live :-).
@@chhunpahouk2868 first of all, English is very important. It is better to learn English from Cambodia. It is a lot cheaper and easier. You are not required to have perfect English but just good enough to communicate. 2. You need to search for the schools that you want your children to go to. You need to know the fee and the requirement of the school. 3. For doing business, it is better to be here for a while and learn about lifestyle and a nature of business in the State or location that you want to do business first. Buying a franchise from other is not a bad idea but you don’t make a lot of money either. It is my understanding only.

ស្រុកខ្មែរ is best choice
