You are lucky better than my time you got education, when I first came as a refugee 1981 I only 22 years old as a girl didn’t speak English and has a Mother’s 60 year old and little brother and little sister the rest my older siblings and father not survive , in first state I live no welfare programs only Two week the Catholic charity helped me find a job , but I’m lucky to be born in Educated family I just followed my family strong structure, but a lot of Khmer people that don’t read and write even Khmer letter have a hard time to teach their children most of them was a farmer or solders that why a lot kids failed did wrong thing got deported back to Cambodia so sad.
