Too funny. I’m fairly certain that is my model s parked at the Sutton WV supercharger. I remember seeing a fellow Ontario plate when we stopped for a break - which must have been you! We went from Toronto to Orlando. We stayed at True in Mooresville as well that evening. The trip planner is nothing if not consistent.

So what was the total cost of super charging

It was $168.43 USD. This includes starting at 80% from home, and a free charge at the hotel.
We were pushing 80mph most of the drive so the energy consumption was above 300 wh/mi.
If we were not in a rush, we could have spent 270 wh/mi going 70 mph. But that would have added more time to our journey.

@@evchargerreviewsnet Using my car i'd need 25 gallons of diesel to get around 1500 miles which are 6cad a piece. EVs are the future on god

how far can you travel on 12% charge?

The long range Y/3 battery has about 77 kWh, usable. So that is about 9 kWh at 12%. If we assume 0.3 kWh/mile at highway speed, that should be around 30 miles.
Personally, I wouldn’t try to go more than 20 miles on my last 12%. And if you plan to arrive dead, you need to be very confident that you can get a charge at the destination.
