Web of Shadows was/us the best experience ive had with a Spider-Man game! Comic book world with super hero team-ups. Various combos with 2 different combats (red suit/black suit) Such control over traversal (run, crawl, or fall when you land on a wall all by holding different buttons). The controls were a bit complicated, but master them and you can experience Spidey's real life web-swinging!

Ultimate Spider-Man was my childhood, and was probably in my top... 3 or 5 Gamecube games of all time. From losing 47 times in a row on that last Johnny Storm race, to rampaging around the city, maintaining Venom's bloodlust, fending off the city and it's army, it had everything my child brain needed. I need to give these new ones a shot maybe?
I was full expecting one to just cop out and have one of the spiderman's break through the glass into some person's random apartment or office job and trying to quickly apologize before they go back to crime fighting and probably scrambling to write a spider check, that I imagine was specially decaled by some bank.
Wish they would've brought back the mechanics that they didn't add in the first game to the second. Being able to slide down a building and across the ground would've been a really addition for traversal
It'd be amazing to break a window and get a cutscene or some crap in the third Spider-Man PS4-5 game, where he gets smacked up, shot at or even yelled at or threatened by all the NPC's for trespassing and being in the building and breaking the glass window. Each window you break has either it's own dialog or even visuals of him leaving. And it varies whether dialogs occur or he just leaves, especially at night when nobody is awake.
Do yall remember Spider-Man 1 where the whole game pretty much takes place on rooftops and you couldn’t go to the ground because it was the same thing as dying

You can stick in the old Spiderman 2 game, you just have to hold down a button on contact with the wall. You could also sprint along the wall with the distance depending on your speed and the angle of contact.
If anyone remembers in ramis spiderman 2 and 3 you have to press O or B to initiate wall climbing. Arguably making it a better mechanic so you don't unintentionally start climbing and can continue swinging.
Can't wait for all the buildings to actually have rooms and you can crash through the window and run through it or just explore some random skyscraper as spidy
