Love those JDMs. Drove a Cube in Okinawa. Later in Fussa, just west of Tokyo, had an Altezza. 3 yrs in each place as I am in the Air Force. Hope to get one more assignment to Japan before I retire.
Sweet ride dude, I never had a Suzuki in my life, always been other Japanese models other than Suzuki. However, I had to buy a car for my wife and I came across a 2015 Suzuki Alto RS Turbo. Man I fell in love with these small cars. Its still pretty stock having 5 speed AGS tiptronic gear box with peddle shifters and laser auto breaking with ESP/ABS and other abbreviations that makes my head spin. But this is has a very nice torque. Love this little car. Love the KEI Alto's. Nice ride man, take care of it.
I saw one of these at a repair shop in Connecticut and fell in love with it. It was parked between 2 Daihatsu mini trucks and looked tiny compared to them. Excellent video thanks for sharing
Sweet video! You gotta make an upgrade kit or parts list for us lame old farts - I haven’t found a thing for mine yet. I’m motivated now, tho! (Jealous about the A/C, too!!). Take care, buddy - Schoolbus Bob...
I was just thinking the other day: Why has noone built a hayabusa swapped version of this car, yet? I would have thought the internet would have been all over that.
Love it, if you ever decide to sell it let me know. Also, if you happen to make it to the Houston area I'd love to check it out and I can bring on of my cars
Cool ride! What does the bar across the back hatch opening do? Somehow I don't think you use it to hang up your dry cleaning, so I'm guessing it's used for stiffening up the body under hard cornering???
i wont say these are 100% rust free, but MOST ones I've seen don't have any issues with rust. Headgaskets, seals, leaking, and turbo issues are what to look for. Generally though, these are in decent shape.
Who do you use for parts supplier? I have a couple of kei cars jimny, autozam, sambar and cappuccino. This is definitely on the list. Also how is the Monster kit and turbo. Out of the box it seems these things are set up to extract torque in terms of turbo tuning and mapping. They pretty much fall on their face if you rev them and end up just making noise.
How do you even find any info on these kei cars, like what parts will fit or which modifications are safe? My current car, Mazdaspeed3, is known for blowing its engine with even small mods like just an intake or just an exhaust, so I'm a little apprehensive of just throwing parts on a car. And was there any reason you chose the Suzuki over similar cars like Subaru vivio, Daihatsu Mira? Or was this just what was available near you?
Where did you source the monster sport ecu from? I’m building out a wagon r with the same f6a motor and might need it for when I put on a bigger turbo. Also hypothetically how would you go about putting an external wastegate on the car if you could? Or is the engine bay to tiny. Also what exhaust is that? Or did it come with the car.
Hey Matt, I just picked up a 95 Alto Works and would love to talk shop with you. Get your thoughts on wheels/tires, part sources, etc. I'm in Austin, would be down to meet up at some point too. Cheers!
Por favor no hablar tanto y muestren lo que puede hacer este carro mirarlo uno puede hacerlo en you tube la idea es verlo como se mueve en auto pista y carretera de montañas

What shop? Pls respond lol
It's a Suzuki so I think a busa or gsxr would be awesome. I'd really like to have one for a daily driver. 100 miles one way. Great mpg
I wonder If the upgraded parts and awd gearbox would fit on a eu block (1l +)
I want this car so bad, gonna buy it next year.
i love how it looks
My 1996 altoworks rsz with the suzukisport stage 1 ecu would spin to 11,000rpm. But mine being newer had the k6a all aluminium engine.
Dude! Sounds so good on the inside!

Sweet Alto! I'm looking to get a '97 this week 🤙
Amazing. Kei cars are so good

Good job Matt! Sounds sick - more potent than Mr. Sparkle ;)
Beautiful car bro. I'd love to import one when I move to new zealand
such a cool car
この頃のワークス最高やで😮
Startup at 7:42

Really cool. Do you still have it? How difficult was it to rebuild the engine? Internals hard to come by? How about other parts?
still have it, 5 years now! engine rebuild just took time and patience, some parts are easy and others are very hard.
I have two Turbo Kei vans, a RSR Alto Works is my next purchase
Now _that's_ a car.
It’s looks so cute in America as everything there is so big and unhealthy. U could park 2 of those in a space there.
Bro that is sick!!
Very cool
Nice video man! 😁

supposedly adds stiffness, i just think it looks cool 😎
Love it
dude great video! Obsessed with these, my buddy Dustin has one, and I love it so much. How much hp now?!?!?!?!?
I really don't know. I'd estimate 90ish?
Anything to lookout for when buying one of these cars ? Like rust and what not

I want one so bad
where did you get the rims?
What's with the checkered mats and cooler? Mason?
im guessing you imported it from japan? what do they go for in japan? im thinking about getting one but i dont really know what they cost.
I found it in Houston already imported. In Japan they sell cheaper than here. Overall range would be 2000-8000
so these didn't come from factory with a sound system or radio?
they did :D
Nice!
Thanks! Looking forward to making more content. Might ask for advice :)

Parts I find on Megazip, Buyee, or from other owners. I have a HT07 turbo and Monster Sport N1 Ecu. I think it really wakes it up!

Nice👍
Just curious where do you find parts for this? Mind exchanging numbers?
Megazip, Buyee, Instagram
@@texastoastr who on Instagram do you go to?
@@huck69 GarageKei, Jesse Streeter, and a random asortment of people who just happen to find wheels and the like
oh wow I actually know you from IG you are toastr
how expensive are these to maintain? i’m looking into buying one
Be ready to to spend thousands if really doing a lot of work.
How hard is it to find parts for it? Getting one this week but it may need a rear wheel bearing
wheel bearings are easy, they use a standard size

Hey cool build! Is it hard to find parts for this thing?
I own one in Japan, and it isn't great when it comes to finding parts. Gotta hunt a little bit
Where did you get the roof spoiler??
came with the car, its a "take-off cross" brand
How reliable is this car, im about to buy one but i just want to know first lol
Very reliable
