When we went into L.A. from San Diego and you could see the whole city as you come down into the city and a huge ominous black&grey cloud is just over the cityscape. It's creepy there and the dust was trapped in before any people were living there, Native Americans kind of avoided it ... but I do hear the pollution is better because a lot of school buses had to come up to standards and trucks too and it was shocking to see a place get better in that regard.
