Robin saying “sorry, forgot how to door” really shows how young he is😂 most definitely not something an adult would say (Robin is my favorite in this game so far)
Yeah I loved the unique dialogue throughout the whole game. I played all 4 characters per mission, so I could really pick up on their conversations and differences between each event.
Of all the things people want to criticize and complain about with this game, even though it is pretty good and fine as is (Aside from the unnerving feeling of how you could connect it to the end of Batman Arkham Knight), you cannot deny how Oswald was portrayed in this. This is the first time in actual real-time years that he's been portrayed anything close to how he is in the books, after years of the Arkham and Gotham versions. This is actually refreshing
In a world where Joker didn't exist, Penguin would've been Batman's archenemy.
For sure, Penguin and Joker are the main rivals in the Batman universe. Mr Freeze and Poison Ivy etc are more like extras.

@Amosus2 that is true. He appeared before the joker. He is the only of batmans original foes who is still around and well known. Him and joker I believe and a few others after. Dr. Death has been forgotten by most and sparingly used. He was batmans first villain

Personally, I didn't mind that some of the dialogue was the same in some cutscenes. Each of the main characters had something different to say through their own personalities, which was enough for me.
1. Three out of the four reference "get out of jail free cards" 2. I think this version of the penguin is based on "The Batman" movie version

Adam Jensen's voice doesn't fit to Penguin tbh. Kinda sounds weird once you get used to him being Jensen's voice actor
I think he's an okay choice, but I agree with you. Once you know the voice it definitely adds that "weird" feeling,

So basically the penguin has the same dialogue and outcome regardless of who you play as. Sounds fun😒
Yeah the characters of both sides (hero/villains) have the same outcomes. There's only subtle dialogue and sentences that are different. some have sarcasm, stubbornness, politeness etc.
What were you expecting? This isn't a Telltale game and you know how much time and money it would take to have a completely different story for all 4 characters? That's an unrealistic expectation.
It was probably alot of work JUST to make 4 versions of the same cutscene to include all 4 of them.
@@scottmemelord6130 I agree. even though the scenes are similar, each scene had 4x the amount of voice actors compared to the usual 1x in other games. That along with mechanics such as 4x gliding, 4x combo move sets, 4x cosmetics, 4x skill trees and so on.
People don't really think what a games development involves and usually end up only glancing at the finished product
@@MissableContent That and the animation work as well. Having to basically animate all 4 characters separately for each version of the cutscene.
Every character has their own unique fighting animations too, 4x the animations.
In other words no difference
Each playable character and each NPC in the entire game have similar conversations, but they all have different answers, replies etc.
having more changes, like different outcomes/choices would take so much work and would have added 5 years onto the development time.
