2694 - Luis Martinez: The Best Driver in Villa Park (in Brea)

My first upload with 2022 footage is a video requested by the driver. Thank you, Luis, for letting me film! I hope you found this video! He's normally a Chino Hills/Yorba Linda recycle driver on Monday and Friday and 1 of Villa Park's 2 residential drivers Tuesday-Thursday, so to have him in my area was quite a surprise. He finished the post New Year's recycle in my neighborhood on the Saturday morning of January 8th, 2022, due to delays from extra holiday garbage and driver shortages. Enjoy!

I’ve been waiting for this day forever. I find it interesting how I’ve been having normal garbage days for like 3 weeks and like the Brea/Placentia, Fullerton, Yorba Linda area is like 5 drivers short. Luis is always entertaining in RR’s, I like that gripper tilt tactic he does

My neighborhood's been getting finished by Fridays for most weeks again. Brea is still short 2 recycle drivers and 1 greens driver and Yorba Linda is short 1 greens driver as well. Honestly not sure if it's even worth filling the routes since they're losing Chino Hills in 3 months.

Not quite sure yet, I heard they may send drivers to Santa Ana in the morning since they're starting Santa Ana the day after they lose Chino Hills. Either way, the routes will change and they're just dealing with the current ones right now.
