I have EDS and am getting a backbrace soon so seeing this video after coming to your canal for the backbrace vids was very interesting as since I'm always happy to see awareness being spread for this rare illness. May I ask how you came to making a video about EDS?
Im so glad I could spread awareness! I chose this syndrome as it affects the vascular system (an organ system I'm very interested in) and it can cause scoliosis (a condition I have myself) . Its effects on collagen are also really interesting !
Hey! I just wanted to say, thank you for making such amazing scoliosis content. About a year ago I found out I had scoliosis, and watching your videos always makes me happy! In a couple of months I am going in for my second scoliosis surgery. Anyways I just wanted to thank you, your videos have helped me so much 💖

Thanks for not just covering EDS alone, nobody seems to talk about vEDS. It’s so isolating to be the 1 in 90,000 or so people with such an error, one that cuts your life expectancy in half while everyone else with EDS just gets a normal life expectancy. Shit sucks, but at least I can’t work a 9-5 anymore. 💀👍
My friend has successfully diagnosed several people with EDS (as in she told them they had it and then it was confirmed by a doctor) and now I am her next victim. I have PoTS and scholiosis. Outlook grim.
this is cool, i was just looking at one of her back brace videos from 2 years ago. i got diagnosed with EDS at 4 and scoliosis around 8. i had to wear a back brace from 13-15 yr old

no no not at all it’s a rare condition so a very small portion of scoliosis patients can have vEDS. Scoliosis doesn’t necessarily have a cause
can the angle increase when youre above the growing stage ?
I think so but I would ask your medical provider for more information!
