In this video we install iBoard running boards on the 2014 RAM 1500 Sport Crew Cab. These boards use the factory holes and no drilling is required. You can install these using simple hand tools.

Nice DYI video. I installed tubular units on my 2013 Ram. The dealer wanted $800 for units and install. I paid about $250 for DYI. Also, did a DYI bed liner. Hate those labor charges!

Just received my iboard running boards for my 2013 ram. Currently have the round nerf bars.Thanks for the entire installation process from start to finish. Will be installing the new boards today.
Installed on my 2016 Bighorn, definitely worth the cost and use! Easy to install, if you follow directions, easy to adjust as well. Nice lines added to the trucks appearance, will also withstand my 220lb ass as well, without flexing. Great purchase for the money!

We just finished installing these, and they are perfect! Only complaint I have is that they should have labeled each package, that would have made the process faster. Overall though, we're very happy
I must say, good choice on the running boards. Like you mentioned, they do flow nicely with the lines on the truck. You may have found my replacements cause I don't think I like my tubular style boards. Thank you!
Thanks for the positive feedback brother! Like I was saying i'm not much of a running board guy but these look pretty decent for non folding ones for sure. I'm currently working in an area where door dings are prone so I'm definitely leaving them on for now lol
BoostedMotorsports The running boards you installed in the video were they the 5” stainless steel version? I’m debating 4” vs 5” on Amazon you can only get 5” in Stainless steel which I’m ok with stainless because stainless will last longer. Let me know. Thanks!

Have them on my 2014. Had to lower them though because my wife is about 1 inch from being a midget! LOL

They do look good! I have a '14 limited with the wheel well to wheel well stock running boards. I like them, but urs look cooler.

lol I'm not too sure on the weight rating to be honest Todd. The running boards themselves are plenty strong. If you wanted to beef them up I would maybe put some more beefy brackets on it but the boards themselves are plenty rigid.
Great install video, went from 3" round nerf bars (too small looking on my 4wd quad 1500 ram to 6" ovals (too wide, get banged at car wash. Maybe go with those next!
Thanks Ken! I really just wanted them to minimize door dings for a few months at this job site but will probably end up pulling them off again. I can definitely see running boards getting banged up at the car wash though!
I really dislike running boards, but I hate Getting door dings more. I already had one incident, so I might have to get these just to prevent future dings. It’s funny because I never thought of the boards a preventative measure.
Me too! I ended up taking these off now that I'm parking in my garage but for awhile they were helpful!
BoostedMotorsports I’m going to try the Amp automated side steps. They come out when you open the door and retract under the truck when you close your door. So, you’ll have the best of both worlds. You can also keep your foot on the side step when you close your door, this feature will leave the boards down to prevent door dings if you’re parked somewhere close to other vehicle.
AMP doesn’t make them for the 2019 yet, but they have them for the Ram Classic like your truck.
I just purchased a set. They go on tomorrow. I was wondering if the plastic "nut" should be installed first to help prevent dropping that part inside the body?
I have some kickbacks on my truck think these will fit with them or would it touch? The mudflaps

The "nut serts" are riv-nuts (rivet nut).
Yeah there is a couple different brands and terms of the same thing. 🤣

Just banged it out again...clean lines on those running boards man.
Took the stock ones off my 2017 sport because I wasn’t a fan. Now I might just pick these up and try them out I think for the price.
I also ordered the reverse LEDs today finally found ones compatible I see.

Absolutely ... I actually replaced my 3rd brake/cargo light with an aftermarket blacked out full LED set up that I’m happy with no problems with leaks on the factory gasket/seal as of yet.
I’ve also already replaced the license plate lights as well.
I have the interior LEDs you used too just waiting to find time to install those ...thanks man.

Hey Roger I have that video for you already! I would recommend putting HID in the projectors though as the LED light gets lost in these projector housings. I'm doing a video in the upcoming week on HID installation in the low beam projector housing.

Those wheels are freakin' cool lookin' on your truck! I have to say if one of my inlaws stepped on those running boards they would definitely not hold.

Just installed these on my 19 Crew Cab Bighorn. Your video is spot on. Thanks! Really impressed with the fit and finish and quality of the iBoards. Went on just like the video and the instructions. Although the pics on the instruction sheet were a little blurry. Love the look and feel. Only complain: mine don’t fit very snug to the body. Have about an inch gap. But very sturdy and clean looking. Overall, I’m happy! Again, thanks for the video!

I have the factory boards on my '16 Sport. I wouldn't have bought it that way but for some reason my 5' 11" wife though she needed them. I thing they ruin the look of the truck, which is why I'm reluctant to put 22's on it.
With that said I love John's videos, a lot of this stuff I'm trying to do to my truck as well. I just did a full LED swap and it looks bad ass (highs, lows, fogs). Obviously HID would be better in projector but I got the LED for so cheap I couldn't resist, plus they're easier to install.
Put those 22's on! 2019 RAMs come stock with 22s now so no reason your running boards should stop you! 😆
Appreciate the feedback brother! I'm actually about to do (and show) a cheap HID setup for the projectors. I have the stuff just need to install it. The LED's in the projectors are pretty brutal so I'm swapping them out 🤣
I also live in Ontario where everything is expensive to begin with because of our dollar, plus the customs charges to get anything shipped here from the States. Although my Mother-in-law lives in Michigan and will be visiting soon...

Hey Chris I've seen a lot of people with them and great results! With my DiabloSport tuner I have adjusted the throttle sensitivity way up and combined with my bored out throttle body the gas pedal is alive and very sensitive now so basically the same thing as a pedal commander 👍

I was thinking about that also. I think it would be marginal but also could possibly change it for better. The way they tuck to the body could maybe have a similar effect to those transport truck trailers with those large side skirts for fuel economy. 🤷♂️

Thanks Kevin! They are actually just tire stickers. Go to google and search "Tire Stickers" and you'll see a bunch of websites that sell all kinds of words and lettering you can put on any tires. Not a fan of running boards, If i had to get a set I'd do the ford electronic style that pop out when you open the door.
Yeah I hear ya. These are in my opinion the cleanest non folding ones I've found. Should help with door dings for where I am currently parking which is a bonus.
