Yeah same here, there’s a lot of stealth patches and mods they do to the mechanics of things but don’t say a word so you find out the hard way when it’s missing or not as good

On a separate note, regarding modded vehicles, if you're looking for something that makes this game "easy mode", but fun at the same time, I'm really enjoying R&R's Moose (or whatever it's called). It's the 2nd Gen Cummins that just got reintroduced to consoles on Thursday. It's literally point-and-shoot mode, but has great versatility if you also add the correct trailer packs. you can go to your provider's website to see if and when they will be working on stuff in your area, at least i can do that here in Holland. i jumped the gap with the ANK and the 2 crates with no problem on that mission

there's plenty of room for a trailer to be connected, this why I no longer use "stock" trucks and only use mods, have had no issues with them crashing my game.🤔🤔
Yeah I know the game is weird and a bit overly strict on when it lets you attach trailers! I’ve not had any issues for a while now to be fair, but for the most part I have mods on my 2nd play through which I use care free as if it crashes then so be it lol 👍🏻

Hey dude, been awhile since I played but haven’t noticed the Tayga struggling particularly although the steering of all vehicles seems soft and spongy compared to what I remember. Enjoying getting stuck back into it though and looking forward to the next phase.
this is so easy with 1 truck, the voran grad with crane mount and sideboard bed mounted, no trailors and no extra trucks and just drive down in the lake
Yeah if I was trying to do it as quickly as possible then it wouldn’t take long at all, but I felt like upping the difficulty and stubbornness a little bit 👍🏻
I play on series x and have loads of mods, never crashed once. I don't use anything op, but most of vanilla trucks are ridiculously underpowered, just jerking their wheels in place for most of the time, so fuck then. Azov iceberg and Kolob rino ftw.
Yeah to be fair I’ve not had any crashes for a good while now, but by now I’ve already got 2 separate playthroughs for each! Yeah the iceberg is great! I’m uploading a review on that right now 👍🏻
I guess the effects on the Tayga have gone much more unnoticed for me as I'm one of the few games playing this game that thinks the Tayga is overrated anyway. And I wanted to like the Tayga, it has a similar engine note to the C-255 (which I love that engine sound so much), back in the day it was the only truck that had the big mud tires. C-255 was my favourite truck in MudRunner, the Tayga was like SnowRunner version of the C-255. So it's not like I found it, went "that truck looks ugly" (which fyi, it doesn't) then had some kind of bias against it ever since. No no, I genuinely, truly WANTED to love the Tayga. I really really did. But ever since Day 1, I think I got to Taymir around the time Rift came out, so this was pre-Phase 1. This was like Phase 0. lol Ever since Day 1, no matter how much I wanted to like the Tayga, the Tayga has just never, ever felt like anything above a "Meh it's kinda OK" type of truck to me. I've always felt like the Voron fleet was way better then the Tayga. So if the Tayga was hit hard in the last update. I guess I haven't really noticed since I never found it all that good in the first place.
Well back at the start of the game the Tayga was a beast, fully upgraded anyway, and easily one of the best in the game as far as sheer performance and so on But the Vorons are all very good and definitely got overlooked a lot because of the Tayga, it’s not that they’ve specifically nerfed the Tayga it’s since they added that fine tune gearbox, I’m sure they purposely broke the torque levels etc in auto gears to make the low ranges more relevant, to make their fine tune seem more needed, but they basically just made everything a bit worse and weaker

You could probably see to 10 countdown videos from 6 or 7 months ago from guys like A Tribe Called Cars, and there's probably a good chance I have a comment left there saying the same thing, something along the lines of "The Tayga is like alright at best" For me the Tayga was just never it all cracked up to be. I still remember the one time I caught up to a Tayga in Zimnegorsk and basically helped push him though the trails. We both had the same load as we unknowing selected the same mission until I caught up to him. He had a Tayga, mud tires and all. I had a freaking Derry Longhorn (old model) of all things. Buddy was slowly wading though the mud, winching constantly. I ended up feeling bad for him and just started pushing him from behind. lol And note I'm the second, so I'm even going though the same tire track trenches that that had already tore up. That was months ago now. I think me and the Tayga just don't click well together. I'm one guy that's probably never going to put the Tayga on the same level most others hold it to. I'd be surprised if I even count the Tayga on my personal top 10. It's just not there, not for me.

It has ruined a lot of trucks and limited what’s comfortably useable now, I’m using the same 5 odd trucks now in every vid! Lol yeah it actually was incredibly handy and got me over there every time! god damn horse of a vehicle 👍🏻🐎🍞

👍 you could always use the max off-road pack. It has the longest reach crane.
