I still play 15 and I love the regression system because it all depended on how good your trainer was. It at least allowed you to keep a player and have them play at a high level later into their career.
This would be a sick series to go back on. Not every year but every like 3-4 years. Gotta do the Browns before their like “only 3 wins in 3 seasons” or whatever
This video brought back so many memories I completely forgot about haha. I remember playing this game on the 360 as my first madden game. As the Bucs I traded for Johnny Manziel and moved them to LA as the Red Dragons. He proceeded to become a 99 overall and put up multiple MVP caliber seasons with Odell as his main WR. Good times lol
The detail EA used to put into Franchise is insane compared to what we have now. It was actually so engaging and made you want to pay attention to every aspect of every save
All you have to do is scout development back then. If they had a 3 you knew they was good and had superstar development. It’s was easy to get all the best guys
I played starting with Madden 12, then got 25, 15 and 16 before coming off the madden series for a bit. Returned to it with Madden 21 and 22 after finding Bengal's channel about 1.5 years ago. The one thing I didn't like about the older Madden games such as 25, 15 and 16 was the Scouting, as I'd never have more than 300 Scouting points a week, even with the Expert Scouter upgrade as a coach, so while I could see the letter grades for some draft prospects, I could never see the actual overalls of the traits. And I'd have no idea where they would rank in terms of actual talent, which is big reason I like 21 and 22 (before the scouting update came along). The whole Scouting Update in 22, while it's cool since it's a lot more realistic in terms of approach, I don't like because you only get the 3 focus players and 3 players to bring in for workouts. Increasing those numbers I feel like would go a long way to improve the scouting system if it's the same in Madden 23
You should do series where you go to older and try and save dynasty’s. Like what if the legion of boom was managed correctly? Or what if the panthers super roster stayed the same?
Me: I am not going to sit here and watch Bengal do a 2 hour and 14 second rebuild on a damn near 8 year old game. Me 2:14 later, I hope Bengal is going to do more of these.
I love the recaps of previous franchises you played. Idk if it’s just me, but I enjoy watching that. Since I didn’t really start watching this channel regularly until like a year ago
38:45 bengal says the saints got rid of Champ Bailey and wonders how it worked out for them. 43:56 the saints appear to have the last pick in the draft. That means a super bowl win lol
What a throwback, I remember playing with Red Bryant on the Seahawks in Madden 13, upgraded him to 99 block shed and he got over 30 sacks in a season at RE
I remember watching that NE-GB game when Dan Connolly had that kick return, and while GB did have a lot of injuries that impacted their special teams, the fact that Big Man Dan still got it inside the 5 yard line is incredible. There have been quite a few big man plays in the NFL that are insane, and also in all the franchises that Bengal does, but I think the only way Dan's kick return is topped is if another O-line does the same thing but gets into the endzone.
I just see the Video now in 2023 and I'm still impressed about your knowledge about so many players of the past and i really enjoy this series and all the actual ones with the rebuilds and your franchise. Please never stop doing content
In Madden 25 they did have the colors on the draft prospects to match their team. Maybe they took it out of 15 because it was a little too similar to the real thing? But I do hope you do Madden 25 and try drafting some of the other “story” prospects (they reverted to having all different classes in 15) besides Ben Bones! Thanks for the long video :)
I wonder if Bengal would ever do a franchise in this game again, post his normal franchise he does every year. This would be a fun franchise during the summer when madden is kinda stale
One of these days I’m gonna do a drinking game where I have to take a shot each time you say hookem horns. I may be dead afterwards but I’ll keep y’all updated.
Whitworth is actually in my city, Spokane, Washington and its Division III from what I recall. Its where my brothers wife went among many other people I know, and my moms coworker has a son who played Center for them for a while a few years ago but he retired from football. Eastern Washington is also in a suburb of my city where my mom and one of my uncles went, so we are pretty happy about the success Cooper Kupp has seen even though its for the Seahawks rival the Rams. We also have Gonzaga which is famous for its basketball team, and there are some facilities of Washington State here such as their nursing school, but the main campus is a 75 mile drive south in Pullman.
I think you were right on the Brandon LaFell face. The one you said was a linebacker was Chris Hope, his face pops up a lot. There was also Chris Draft in there as a 7th round face
That first in-game sim reminded me how you could absolutely never sim in a game if you didn't want a 60 steamer dropped on you. Oh yea, and those Jags unis were completely horrendous 😂
Yes I do remember Shiloh Keo, played Jr High ball with him. His dad Reagan was the coach, played 3 yrs with Shiloh and 4 with Reagan. Go Woodinville Falcons!!! (City league)
"Tell you what JPP, I'll give you a firecracker of a deal" 😂

“Keep Odell cause he has special teams value” is prob the biggest excuse to keep OBJ that I’ve ever heard Bengal use😂😂

@camgocrazy that's EA for you
@camgocrazy Because EA will take away small features and reintroduce them 4-8 years later under a new name. It’s smoke and mirrors.
@@Hell-Spawn-Al-Simmons nobody cares, ur not cool
Dude yeah. I put training points into Blake Bortles’ potential and won the Super Bowl with a 99 overall Bortles 😂
Telvin smith “ that’s no good” 🤣🤣 hilarious commentary 😂😂

Schefter talking about dudes famous memory game with his sisters had me dying😂😂😂
Same dude, and Bengal's reaction as well 😂
Not to mention the guy had D play rec which makes no sense with the draft story 🤣

Love this little type of series!! You should buy Madden 10 and rebuild the worst team! Keep up the great work Bengal!
That's probably the Detroit Lions
@@garydadragracer4202 I think it’s like Miami
Madden 10 was the best one for me. Larry Fitz and Polamalu on the cover, iconic asf
Madden 10 was pretty good, couldn't stand anything after 14 though
The Free Agency interest with each player is actually a sick feature
they’re adding it to madden 23 like it wasn’t already in this game
was gonna say they’ll bring it back and say it’s a brand new feature
"New never before seen feature in madden" calling it
Should be a standard feature.
Funny how cone pass is also a "new" feature
The fact madden used to be capable of generating real faces and we’ve gone backwards since then
Idk they reused like the same 15… so many duplicates in one class
Honestly I thought he was using a real class with those faces
Nah i like the auto generated better then random EA employees that don’t even look like the player on madden

Thanks!
I love this series, i love seeing all the players that were in their prime in those years.
i thought about keeping a tally for how many things that were in madden back then but aren’t in madden now but i gave up about 15 minutes in
Can we also talk about how many of the owners pictured in this game have either sold the team or have passed away
“Alright so it sounds like he has… potentially physical deficiencies but is the smartest dude of all time” killed me
This is the latest Madden I have 😭Soooo nice to see someone playing it!
Man I am actually digging this bro keep this mini series going please!!!
The Saints actually did win the SB with Champ Bailey unless they traded for the 32nd pick 43:50
Loving These throwback rebuilds
1:46:48 “‘The Jags bid farewell to their old home’ IM THE JAGS” That literally made me spit up my water so thanks for that
I absolutely love the jokes in this video

“I got this little meatball trying to punch it in”
Wth begal 😂😂🤣
Your knowledge of football players, transactions, college careers, successes, failures… dude you are THE GOAT youtube gm. Unbelievable knowledge.
That Patrick Brandon story was the wildest draft story I’ve ever heard 😂
Dude was a Rhodes scholar finalist what is he doing playing football at that point
The face you made when you said “but were having a good time” 😂😂😂😂
Josh Scobee = Steelers legend. Went 6/10 on FG and 6/7 on XP in 4 games before being cut. Truly elite talent
You can turn the instrumentals on in the music setting I believe (could up until Madden 20 when I last bought the game)
Loved the Rick and Morty little Easter egg😂

I like a lot of these mechanics man. Like out this mechanics with all the touch ups in the newer maddens and man it could be elite
Gotta love how the guy with superb memory has D play recognition

These trades are WILDLY unrealistic lol

These rebuilds are awesome. Also hilarious you looked through tight ends for the reciever in the one draft. So much nostalgia

45:44 Maurkice Pouncey
I don't know if you have done this yet but here is an idea: give each team their best roster all time, and see how the following seasons play out
I think he's done something similar where he put every teams best all time player on the roster and simmed.
Please continue this

More “hook em horns” shoutouts from a game made in 2015 than what we hear in bengal’s sims on the current madden
1:52:01 as a Jags fan I’ve never heard a more accurate statement 🙏🏻
Winston Guy also played for the Seahawks😂
Watching this made me download Madden 16 again and man the intro to that game is actually so good. I needed this nostalgia fr
