Didn't realize Duncan Leung was still alive, haven't heard about him in a while. See he retired back to Asia like many other Sifus from China town. I touched hands with him in the 90s. I remember he looked frail and I was afraid of hurting him. He's kept saying hit harder, and could hit pretty hard himself, which I'm sure was only a fraction of what he could deliver.
Great video! I Studied under Sifu Duncan Leung in the mid 80's while in the Navy. I had just watched the movie Enter The Dragon for the first time on Base and decided I wanted to learn some sort of Martials Arts ,so I immediately went to a phone both, flipped through the paper phone book and noticed Wing Chung Kung Fu. (I didn't at the time realize that Bruce Lee was a Wing Chun Practitioner or know what Wing Chun was). I called Sifu Duncan and he said come on down. I signed up then and there. Made it to the Senior class . About 6 or 7 months in , they asked if I wanted to fight in a tournament in Baltimore. I said sure! but since we don't have a belt system, what belt class do I fight in? Sifu said you pick! I said how about Black Belt . He said your probably good enough but let"s try Blue/ Purple belt first. Got second place. LOL! ( You can't pick what belt class you want to fight in with other styles that I know of)! Hahaha! ( Some of my classmates attending the tournament stayed with me at my mom and dad's house the day before the tournament since I lived near Baltimore.) What a great experience. I Miss Sifu, Dave Meadows and Larry Saccoia, Chut and my old classmates. They were extremely talented and a great group of people. Larry was one of my favorites to train with. Damn he was good! I had no idea of the connection between Bruce Lee and Sifu Duncan until my classmates told me. I miss those days. Crazy stuff!!
Awesome anecdote! Thanks for sharing! You probably know my teacher: Robert "Doc" Savage. He trained with Duncan Leung, Meadows, and Saccoia back in the 70s and 80s.
Hi Mark, I was also under Duncan Leung in the mid 80s.. I was just a kid at 13 however. :) I remember some of the names you mention.. Did you train with Steve Faulkner as well?
Every master will teach his successors, do not do evil, do not be aggressive, this is the philosophy of confucianism y cultura inheritance. Excellent video, from start to finish. Thank you
My SiGung was a student of SiFu Leung's in Virginia from the late 1970s to 1990. I'm very grateful to have encountered this lineage of WC. Thank you for sharing! I always enjoy seeing videos of Duncan Leung!
Could you enable automatic subtitles on this if you don't subtitle the English sections in video, please? I am a former student of Duncan Leung, and would love to watch this with subtitles- as I am deaf.

I felt Mr.Leung's thought on the dance was "what a sissy generation Chinese people have become, what a shame" with a disappointed look.
