Probably admin support staff. I know some workplaces where the janitor starting hour rate is a bit higher than admin support starting hour rate.

@@stevoo209 so clarify that you make more than some workers. Your as a welder, you have a skill that the market needs and get paid accordingly. It is about your market value. Someone who has not formal skill and works as a clerk the market pays them differently. The mentality that someone works at a cubicle and therefore might earn more is outdated. Wherever you work is your office.
