I never comment on other people's videos, but I have to say... that clear, tight note at 2:04... He just tosses his head back and struts away afterward like, "I know that was totally bad-ass." Really, though, they do try to be so meticulous and perform at their best and it's got to be some pretty hard work, but they have to congratulate themselves for moments like that. That was perfection.
i definitely always notice that about apocalyptica. i think it has something to do with them standing up. i play cello too, and it is harder without frets, but we're never moving around or standing up while playing. these guys take it to a whole new level. they might be wasted too.
lol. all of them except Antero Manninen. He's just sitting there with his sunglasses on. But yeah. Moving around that much can definitely mess up the intonation.
