I seriously want to thank you Samantha... I spent nearly 2 years in a psychiatric ward, and I only got out in December 2019. I spent my 17th and 18th birthday in there.. I also lost one of my friends to suicide whilst I was in there, and I absolutely love that you’re talking about mental health, because it makes people like me, and many others in the comments feel less alone. I’m hoping to shed light on it too.. maybe one day you’ll hear my lyrics, my story.. but you’ve kept me going.. so thank you 😍

I remember this song it was played in the car when I was going to pick my mum up from the airport. She was in Cyprus to see her dad (AKA my grandad) and he was in hospital after suffering with cancer and then about five mins after we got home from the airport my mum got a call from her sister to find out that my grandad had died..
Ever since, when this song had been played on the radio I would think of my mum and how she felt that day
