every human being must watch this Tv serie,it is a masterpiece of a show,not only changed the way I look at things,but thaught me that every choice you make in your life has an impact on all people around you.
The ending was so good because throughout the show, Jack and others would always repeat the statement "Live Together, Die Alone"... but in the finale - they all died _together_ too :') beautiful ending
I finished Lost 4 days ago. Amazing journey, really loved it. The series finale is wonderful in my opinion, I cried. This now is my favorite show with Dexter.

At one point Dexter was also my favourite show but it really does go down hill after season 4, the final season didn't even have any tenson and the finale was bad. I love Lost far more then Dexter, even with its problems
Remember picturing this music on the last day of school... Saying goodbye to the place I hated so much but it being so sad at the same time... Now I find my self shouting "We have to go back!"

I believe the fact that Kate told Jack "I missed you so much" was an indication that she lived for a long time after leaving the island. :) Christian's comments in the last scene seem to suggest the same.
LOST was just such a genius show, beginning to end. I'll never forget it. It's pretty much the only show I've kept watching. I started watching when I was 8, and now I'm 15. I'll always remember this show.
"See ya in another life, Brutha," the best show on television. It truly made you feel like you were on the island. When the show ended, when this music played, tears were shed, most complained about the ending, but the writers wanted to summarize the characters, and that's exactly what they did. 3:15 is where the feels come in. 4 8 15 16 23 42 *Execute.
I can't believe some people didn't like the ending. I was panicking in the final season that this incredibly epic series would end on a low note, but the ending was perfect!! i watched the final episode at midnight and i cried myself to sleep. the church scene, jack dying with vincent, the amazing emotional music, and the fact that there are no more episodes to watch just hit me so hard i couldn't handle it. i will miss lost forever.
The amazing thing about "Lost" is not only its incredible ability to captivatesuch a large fan-base, but its ability to UNITE that fan base. The term "Lostie" is so appropriate because there hasn't been a fan base since "Trekkies" that was as united in their love for their show as we are. The difference is"Lost" had six seasons. "Star Trek" had a combined 28 seasons between five different shows. I love you guys for sharing the experience of "Lost" with me. See you all in another life, brothers.

the final 12mins or so get me every time, that point when jack realises he's dead is so unbelieveably emotional and the music works incredibly. well done to the lost team for capturing so much emotion at the very end of such a brilliant series

Never has an American TV show touched my heart so much. Man...I literally lied in bed fro 3 days thinking "Now what do I do?" when it was over. I can still see the plane flying over the Island..and Jack looking up and smiling..
Still watching the Finale over and over..However, recieved the eintire series, today. From start, to finish, again. But, with a new perspective on the whole thing. The Finale,..I keep having these, Somthing-in My-Eyes moments...and Michael, the theme is perfect. Thank you for you contribution. I cried like hell as I listened to this masterpiece mainly because I realized Lost is over. How can you not picture characters like Jack, Kate, Sawyer, Hurley, Sun and Jin, listen to this, think about how your favorite series ended and NOT CRY?
The final scenes were moving by themselves, but this music really lifts it to a whole new level. If it weren't for this tear-jerkingly wonderful music, I don't think I would have cried as much as I did at the end.

This is amazing, I've listened to this so many times and I know I'll continue to for a long while. I think it's really powerful that the There's No Place Like Home theme plays as the characters reunite in the afterlife, it says so much about how much they've been through together that in a way they're closer than family.
I think the music was the main component as to why i became so emotionally attached to this show, in parts where the music needs to be soft and full there is and when there needs to be an upbeat part there is. Great Job, I will never be so emotionally enveloped into a show. LOST, there is only one.

I didn't watch the show through all 6 years but I watched in on netflix in about 3 weeks. greatest show ever. I will miss stayin up till 3 in the morning because I have to see what happens next.

I remember it was 2009 I dropped out of college and was living in a lady’s spare room that I found off of Craig’slist lol every Thursday tho every Thursday I got to escape for an hour and get lost in LOST. Forever my favorite show and time capsule to a better me
Live together, die alone. That phrase can sound misleading for people to think it means the characters lived together but ultimately died alone. In fact it means - as Jack himself originally states it - "If we can't live together, we will die alone..." Thereby the show was true to that philosophy, the characters did all live together so that even though Jack technically died alone (bar the company of Vincent) he was in fact not alone as in his final moments he pictured all his friends around him. In the end through the faith Jack had learned, he learned that truly they could 'live together and die together'.
Every year I go to my favourite reunion with all of my friends for 13 years now my parents won't let me go this song makes me remember all the good times I had there :(

Yes, this was main thought of the show but everybody had focused the answers.So they had all been disappointed.
I guess, in a way, the ending really meant "Die alone, Leave together" :'-)
