Hey! I’m German and I had no problems reading the books, I sometimes had to search up words but that’s it. In my opinion it’s pretty easy you should give it a go!

Honestly I think this is the best book series I have read yet. I got my hands on the three of them so far and I was never disappointed. Yes there are flaws, but the story was told so well! Ferius and kellen are such a brilliant characters. I love the gritty undertone and humour. Great review.
I just read this and met the author last week and I agree with thinking that there would be more cons and tricks, but also really enjoyed the story. And Reichus (Ray-kis) is just brilliant. Sebastien even drew a Squirrelcat in my book xD
I love the series! It took me a while to get into because the style of writing is very different to what I'm used to. It's funny, sassy and witty. I love the undertoned homour throughout the series, it's so refreshing and it's the one thing that knots each book together. Yesterday, I finished crownbreaker and I am so happy with the resolution. I loved kellen's character: a complicated, clever and sad boy. The author did a fantastic job with developing each character. I fell in love with Kellen, Nephenia became my role model and Reichis is just jokes 😂. 5/5 stars. I recommend them :)
Solu2791 I’ve recently become really strict with what I class as a five star, five stars have to blow my mind! And I personally don’t use half stars, but believe me I did really enjoy these! :D xx

It does become more performance magic in the later books. The series just needs some build-up.
