The blind is easy to put up and take down. ruclips.net/user/postUgkxvlQxmcZQzSQSYbJsEgAGvG2DaduKTV99 As a female hunter, the ease of placing and setting up the blind is a plus. It’s more of a wind barrier than a warm quilted blind. Which makes it a lot lighter than our quilted blind. I enjoyed the larger windows/openings. Made for a successful season. It has held up well for the first season and the stitching looks good
It's great that your wife is willing to hunt with you. If you can keep her from getting cold that helps alot. You might want to think about a solid door and plixa glass folding or sliding windows to keep the wind out and your heat in. Good luck! ! !
The amusing part is that your 'camouflage' is clear to the deer. If you had painted it pink they would not notice it as they cannot see pink. Those panels are pretty.
Insulation won't help at all with all the heat going out those huge windows ! Ventilation will keep the metal from sweating, you have plenty of ventilation ! Very nice camo job !
Ron Hart we are in the blind right now. This is the most comfortable I have ever been hunting. But I definitely need windows, it was way to windy the last couple says.
Someone else mentioned it, so I will too, do you draw up plans for this and if you did would you make another video and show the dimensions? I believe you may snag a sponsor? Just a thought. Thanks for the video and enjoy the company of your wife, mine passed away so spend time together and thanks again! Look forward to your next video.
I put foam on the window sill to rest my rifle on and reduce noise. I have the same screen but tacked it down and cut some slots to stick my rifle thru
Really, really nice. You will like the aerial view to get a nice shot on deer. I wouldn't spend time or money camo painting the treated lumber. Once deer get used to it, it won't matter. Good luck and be safe.
Brilliant job on this Evan. Haven't seen any updates on your range, blind or hunting in recent times. Is this still something you and Rebecca work on and do?
There is no building permits where I live. I didn't even need one to build my house. That is what is nice about living in the country, someplaces have less restrictions or rules.
Mr504319 the camo is mostly to hide it from people, plus it looks cool. even the roof is camoed. You really cant tell it is there in the satelite photos.
I made a correction for you " Republican " . Did you hear about the hundreds of thousands of people being taken off food stamps . Need to save money for the Orange mans golfing and big tax cuts for the filthy rich .

Great idea and great job on the deer blind and camouflage.Best of luck on deer hunting.

That's a wonderfully built blind. Happy hunting.
Outstanding !! That thing would be full of wasps and yellow jackets in no time here in Texas.

Nice job, hope you and your wife enjoy it and get deer from it! It's nice to have a buddy to hunt with, and extra pair of eye's. Good luck you two.

Thats really beautiful! Ive lived in places not as nice as this!
I’m so glad I found this channel recently Evan you and I are doppelgängers lol if you milled your own wood

Well done, looks like a nice blind to me.
Awesome build
Nice job, looks great!
We are working on one the top for will be 22 feet from the ground. 2 staircases. And 2 decks
I put foam on the window sill to rest my rifle on and reduce noise. I have the same screen but tacked it down and cut some slots to stick my rifle thru
Yea, I usually something on the window sill to rest my gun on also.
Will you please adopt me. Love the pond, land, animals and hunting blind.
Great camouflage job.
I used ice and water roll for roofing super easy and quiet too.
Sweet .. great idea for the stencils
Looks great !!
Turned out well! Thanks for sharing
wow nice, you think its possible to get plans and a cut list. i am not as handy with building as some but would like to try
Awesome blind and camo job

Way to go bro....my wife said the same thing..".so I am watching your vid for ideas....best luck to you...
Great blind I'm fixing to build one for my wife as well
Very nice job!
Great video and nice stand. What do you estimate the materials cost would be on this build? I am looking to build several very similar.
Did you fill the ends of the ribs on the metal with expandable foam? I had to on mine. Mostly to keep wasps from building nests.
Great for camera shooting
Nice job!!
I should do a video and share mine. Great video.!!
Everybody wants to use cables and anchors. Concrete is soo much easier. Cheap too.
I would have just used branches, good job on the camo
Brilliant job on this Evan. Haven't seen any updates on your range, blind or hunting in recent times. Is this still something you and Rebecca work on and do?
Put some velcro on the screens to hold them closed...might help.
Dud you ever finish it?
Roll some 1 1/2"×1 1/2" boards up in the bottoms of the screen and staple it for weight.
what is the estimated material cost for this blind? Thank you
Did you need to get a county permit to build this?
There is no building permits where I live. I didn't even need one to build my house. That is what is nice about living in the country, someplaces have less restrictions or rules.
No need to camouflage the tower itself?
What height is the floor off the ground?
I am going to guess about 10 feet from the floor to the ground.
Very nice
very nice
Need some old office chairs in there and your set
Nice.
no need to camouflage the blind itself. once it's there deer won't care about it but looks good
Mr504319 the camo is mostly to hide it from people, plus it looks cool. even the roof is camoed. You really cant tell it is there in the satelite photos.
@@CountryViewAcres another good thing is the tax man might not see it
How did u get the platform up there
Elevated hunting
Do what works for YOU and your wife.Half these jokers probably have sour marriages.
I don't know about where you are, but if we built a blind w/o windows it would become a barn owl roost... nothing fun about cleaning up owl crap...
Screw that. I'm trying to get away from the wife when I'm hunting. Not trying to have her suck the fun out of that too.
I would the wife no staircase get over it woman!
That screen will always be annoying.
Yes, it didn't last long.
Critters
Cabin on stilts..gay!..Not hunting
Yes cabins and hunting don't mix ? Gay comment.
If you dont have anything nice to say, then you're probably a democrat.
I made a correction for you " Republican " . Did you hear about the hundreds of thousands of people being taken off food stamps . Need to save money for the Orange mans golfing and big tax cuts for the filthy rich .
How do you shoot out the windows?...
