Following her Drag Me to Hell role, Lohman retired from acting, with the exception of a few small roles in film projects directed or produced by her husband.Retired from acting in 2009 to focus on being a mother to her children. She only occasionally does a film role every few years, usually a cameo appearance.

They could make a sequel with Alison Lohman as Christines twin sister who has been seaching for the last decade with Justin Longs character to pull her sister back out of hell... with terrifying results..
yes. that could work. but the new main character should not be a twin sister as Alison Lohman has retired from acting.
Here's an idea. Her lil sister and her ex-boyfriend (Justin Long) has been tirelessly searching for the past 15 years to find a way to pull Alison Lohman's character out of hell. They went everywhere (from America to India etc). That Indian seer has given up hope but not them especially not Justin Long's character who blamed himself for giving the button back to Christine and developed a severe depression and gypsy lore obsessed man. Finally, they went to the land of the gypsies (Romania) and found a lead about the origin of the curse of the Lamia... The met a good gypsy witch who told them there's a way to free a soul from the Lamia's grasp etc. In the end, Justin Long's character sacrificed himself for Christine to escape hell.
what do you think of this story? i really hope some director will read this and make the sequel. Pls put my name in the screenplay credits though, lol.
@@paulinelambert7780 its confirmed a sequel is on the way according to sam raimi but not sure Alison lohman will come back for her very first sequel however i still want her to come back to do this movie but for now justin long might come back to lead but if sam raimi directs the sequel both he and justin can convince alison to come back to do this project.
