Ha! This was fun to watch. I love this company. Everything they make is just ridiculously delicious. If I could, I would use them exclusively on tour. I love their logo. If I got that tattooed on me could I get a free fun pack of some cool pedals for my touring rig or studio? Doesn't hurt to ask :). I really dig that platform pedal! I've got a Wampler mini ego, but I might have to swap it out for either that or the tone corset. Really love these guys! Feels like they just can't go wrong. My second pedal ever, was a big muff Pi with the wicker function. Really got me into pedals. I went a little pedal crazy after that. My first good gain pedal was the soul food. My first good reverb was the cathedral. And I no longer use a wah pedal. Since I got the cock wah and fuzz. More than does the job for me! I've got the freeze too. Amazing tool for writing. Pass my walking billboard idea onto them and let me know 😁!
I love John's work with the Afghan Whigs these days...one of my favorite bands ever, I've seen him live with them three times now...!! On the EHX front I only use a Pog 2 which is incredible ...!!!
Met John at summer namm when I was trying out the tone corset. Definitely the only compressor I've ever been into. John's super nice and a great player too!
Hot Wax sounds great, gonna have to give that one a look when it's released. Digging the new Mig as well, I had a Mig 100 about 20 years ago & it was outstanding. Smelled like cabbage though.
So sick of pedals that try to make you sound like a tube amp. Kids have gone insane complicating something so simple. Instead of buying 10 dirt boxes at $300 ea.... Just save your $3k and buy a good tube amp. Get a Mesa mk V and be done with the toys.
If you're on a budget I would say AC15 or if you want a fendery sound some of the midpriced fender reissue options. But yeah - I agree with you in general. I use a lot of pedals but my base tone has always been a great sounding tube amp. Makes your pedals sound better too.

That cutout of Mike Mathews is Class!
Blake Knott pure class

Great ending. Homage to Jimi.
the best video to date just for that bit at the end hahahahah XD
omg I need that hot wax pedal. Need more info.!
Can Mike get y'all to design a pedal that just makes the noise Jason uncovered? All these pedals sound great. Wow!
Love my Hot Wax!

Goddammit.. that Hot Wax sounds amazing
wish ehx would go back to their old style big folded metal boxes they look so much cooler
Neale Scott This! 1000x
You can blame dorks who want fifteen stomp boxes on a two foot by three foot board for that.
Big is not very practical. I think they still make the big muff BIG.
when you played the hot wax, what amp did you play? . . mig50? . . i liked the tone! and overtones! :-)
I love that ehx is creating stuff fir guitar and bass. That hot wax sounds really good.
REALLY wish the "swell" functions on the Platform was foot-switchable.
Oh man, wrap them up, I'll take them all..... Just for the sound at the end!
No mention of the Sovtek MIG amps they modified the front with the EHX logo?
CrimSun They discussed them last year
That's a brand new EHX MIG50 Reissue
Dammm i want that pickguard
clive . . what do u use your pog2 with? . . shoegaze? . . funk? . . prog? . . death metal?
What is that riff during the swell portion Jeff beck or something ? Got snippets of it stuck in my head driving me nuts at 632
Man never mind figured it out it's from Edgar winter frankenstein
New migs look interesting
EHX is a great company.Loud is Real.
I already have a Hot Tubes and Crayon....there are more eq options and I really don't need a blend control. Sorry Mike, no sale this time

Tioga Fretworks what does this have to do with this video non of these pedals try to be a tube amp...two of them are compressors.
Tioga Fretworks I get where you're from, I've been there too.. but sticking with just great amps only was pretty boring. Toys are fun

Or....Just let young musicians find their own way.
