Thank you for your reaction. My daughter has Lyme and she swears by stem cell treatments. Bedridden for years, she is now married and expecting her 2nd child. Still has to control what she eats and activity carefully but living a life. There is hope.

How you only have 16k subs is criminal, you are at least as good as anyone out there breaking down songs. This another great example. When it comes to proper breakdowns there's 2 reactors I look for above anyone else, Knox and you, no one does it better.

I can relate even if it was a young age. I got bitten by tick - got extremely sick at age 13, I almost died of flesh eating bacteria, and blood poisoning. I spent two months in hospital isolated. I wanted to die because of the pain and needing someone to lift my pillow and carry me to the bathroom. After getting well, I got SA'ed at the age of 14 by guys a lot older than me. I suffered with PTSD and social anxiety, but then found a boyfriend at 16 who mentally and physically abused me. At 17 I found a new boyfriend and got pregnant and married. I suffered with pain and fatigue for many years, even today at the age of 46. It took me years to get my life together, I began my degree at the age of 39 as a single mother of three boys. The youngest a baby at the time. Now I work as a teacher with the youngest students, I found my purpose finally. ❤❤❤

Agree that Ren is a guardian. Of hope, light, compassion, quite a lot of things that are hard to find. I can’t relate to his struggles but he’s the very best painter of his story to show us all the value of hope. Loved your breakdown.

Yeah it's the same sample as Moby but it's a readaptive sample by Vera Hall a 1940s gospel singer, "Troubkes so hard no one can understand them but God" she has a great voice, the sample was a slightly slowed down version of her original version as well as filtered to make it a Haunting sample that has been used over and over.

I believe they brought the limo in. It symboluzes either his success or perhaps the music industry. It is there at the bigining when he gets ejected from life and then it arrives again at the end. He smiles, but he never gets in. He walks on by himself. Love that he uses it as a symbol rather than a party machine
Thanks for your reaction. Ren has made number 1, here on iTunes UK. Ren gives hope to those who don't have a voice. This hit me hard as I've had ME for over 18 years. Made to feel it's all in my head by many medical professionals. I refuse to say CFS (Lazy Bastard Syndrome) that's how I've been made to feel. Trying to explain to friends and family why you miss important occasions cause your body and brain is full of fatigue, pain and brain fog. I have fought to hold down a full-time job and am still fighting. Much love from Scotland. 🏴

Ren has now shared the full story of his health journey in 8 video chapters leading up to the release of this song and what a journey it has been. If anyone hasn’t already watched them, I highly recommend you do. With all the chapters he is showing immense strength in sharing his story that is so hard to tell, being vulnerable and telling it because he hopes it will help others and raise awareness. And here he is with another rendition of that story, now told through music with a fire beat and delivering a message of hope. A beautiful hero that the world needs ❤️🐰🕳️
BTW I am guessing the knife with teeth of cold steel is a bit of creative freedom to make it more understandable what’s going on but probably refers to the glass shard from the old TV he broke? Unless he’s cut his chest multiple times. I hope not. I understand why though. When you have no control over what illness is doing to your body and none of it has any explanations, there is bound to be comfort in choosing to cut yourself and to see the clear cause and effect. It hurts and bleeds, but he knows exactly why. What a nightmare he’s been through 😢

After having listened to Ren's Chapter Series Intently and multiple times, this track just encapsulates his story so well and serves as musical accompaniment for The Chapters. Ren's experiences are very familiar to me to say the least, as is often the case with many of his supporters. Ren's success is so deserved and I do truly hope it continues. Ren is the medicine many of us need. So raw, combined with his naturally emotive performance! Indeed Ren....Your Limo has finally arrived...Great Reaction.

Ren has a video on Instagram and youtube of him playing the original sample from Vera Hall on his computer (Ren paid for the rights to use the original in his video). He takes the sample and start to do his magic and mixes and tweaks it to sound so cool. Then he adds it to the melody he made earlier. Great breakdown. Ren is special. We are here to witness and watch him rise. He is just getting started. 💯🔥

It struck me that all the surroundings were gateways to experiences that he couldn't have when he was ill. Now he can. The world is his oyster (don't know if he can eat oysters, but you see what I mean).

Another amazing reaction! I have been quiet on the comments recently. Ive been watching them all but I've had a bit of a few months and my mental health hasnt been great. I guess this track has made me re-evaluate and push through. Hiding away isn't going to help me. So I'm fighting it and trying to hold on. I think the limo is an accident of timing, as was the two people with a guitar getting off the subway train behind Ren in an earlier scene. It’s a cool thing that happens when you just go out on the street and start filming.

When it comes to the sample, there is one more important thing about it, unless I'm tripping. As people already said, Moby used the same sample, but Red made sure to buy rights to use the original. But it seems to me that by the very end of the song (after he finishes rapping, but before the message on the km of the screen appears) the sample edited by Ren. The words are no longer "trouble so hard", but rather "trouble with god". I'm not sure how he would have done it, cause the word "with" does not seem to appear in the original song, maybe by cutting fragments of two words and merging them. It's pretty damn seemles, but I don't think I'm making this up. Listen to it again if you can and let me know what do you think

He paid for the Moby sample, which was done by Vera Hall, originally came from her family, which were slaves in the 20s singing bout hope. The teeth of cold steel bar is tough man. The one bar that we all are hoping is only a metaphor, which would still suck beyond unbelief, but it’s not. I’m a bout of psychosis, he actually cut his chest open in the alley just to make sure he was still alive and real and could feel something, anything even pain, Hospitalized relief of cold steel. It’s so crazy that that’s not even storytelling. Obvious now why he will have taken his own life if it wasnt for watching the impact that suicide had on Joe’s family. His love and compassion, for his mother was the deciding factor to go another seven years of suffering every day. As awful as that is, we are all glad that he is here sharing his story, spreading the word, and can do it in such a beautiful way. If I did very interesting that he wears a jacket in the beginning, I believe it says Hollywood spit me out for Hollywood kicked me out anyway, something pertaining to Sony giving up on him which I’m sure they regret now.. but then the last part of the video got the throwback bulls jacket, which only represents the six time NBA champion. Best basketball player of all time Jordan throwback bulls jacket.! my buddy had the same one in high school. This shit is fire. I wonder if he still has it
