Remove / Clear administrator password Bios Asus laptop (Simple and without opening your device's)

- Step 1: Go to into Bios space
Step 2: Press Enter without pass type (You enter the Bios user space)
Step 3: Change the date system to 23/Nov/2011 (23/11/2011)
Step 4: Save change and exit
Step 5: Reboot laptop and again enter the Bios space
Step 6: In Password menu time don't press Enter and press Alt+R
Note: This time you enter the Rescue pass menu
Step 7: Type this pass "A1AAABBA" and press Enter

Bruh this makes no sense how do you enter bios settings when you forgot the bios password
I just followed these instructions and I got a black screen after entering the Rescue password. I let it sit for a good long time (40 min). I turned the machine off, waited 30 seconds then turned it on again. Held F2, no password prompt appeared. Went to "Security" tab, "Setup admin password", left it blank, enter, enter. Save and exit.
One confusion some people might have is " press enter when I have no password?" Yes, it will let you look at BIOS settings, and change minor things like the date.

I cant press alt+r, i tried and it just writes in the password space, the r, like i was typing. So I cant do that, any help?

Didn't work out on Asus K1703 with Windows 11 UEFI bios password. ALT + R did nothing. You can't even see the BIOS without knowing the password. Any ideas?

I've been locked out of my G50V Asus since 2009... Thank you, Sir! Now, I'm stuck at the Vista password screen. Hopefully it won't take me another 14 years to figure it out. Haha!!

But "Vista" you mean windows vista? if true you keep out hard disk and get your data so, format hard disk and continue...
14 years is a very long time for broken pass...

It worked for me thanks ! First it didn't work then I thought maybe it has something to do with my keyboard layout because it's french. I then tried with the keys that are used on the us layout and then it worked!

Thanks a lot, that works perfectly on Asus TP550L, but pay attention to the keyboard config, qwerty/azerty... The keyboard of my laptop is an azerty but seems to be internaly se't to qwerty because I had to use Q instead À in the password... 😂

My ASUS U47A BIOS setup is F2 immediately after powering on and tapping F2. Next, on my built in keyboard I used the right "alt" key + "r" to enter admin mode of BIOS.
How do I get to bios it brings me to this animated BIOS with a little spinning CPU fan and crap

Win 10 & 11 BIOS entry from Windows side:
Click Start and then select Settings.
Click Update & Security.
On the left side, click Recovery.
Under Advanced start-up, click Restart Now.
Click Troubleshoot.
Click Advanced options.
Select UEFI Firmware Settings
Just enter BOIS Setting. Advanced - Security. There, you'll see the Administrator password. Click-Change. Fill the current password with Old Password. Leave New Password EMPTY. CLICK "OK". There you will see "Remove old password". Click OK. That is.
I think its not available because we could not access to that features without admin pass
so of course, I can not check now that because sold out that laptop

I cannot click on screen to change any values in the bios. I can go from advance to boot to security etc but then can't change csm or secure boot log. Any ideas please.Is this because I am user and not admin?
