Now I know what's behind that bit that moves! I ended up making the diff lock linkage piece from 6mm solid round bar bent to the exact shape of the broken original and welded a couple of washers on to form the stops. Works okay. Nice job again.
Indeed! But you can make some major cockups if some of the parts are installed backwards or in the wrong order!
is that "blue stuff" used as an oil seal or the original purpose , or both?
