It's honestly ridiculous to think that this man is less than a sweetheart to his fans. The music he writes is filled with lyrics about how much they inspire him everyday. He's gotten emotional on stage because of the overwhelming support and love they give him. He's written stories with characters inspired by their fanbase that symbolize hope, peace, happiness. Him being "mean", sarcastic, teasing us, etc., these are all inside jokes, and honestly I'm so glad we have them. Most artist don't have this kind of familiarity with their fanbase. Some try to but never succeed. Not quite like this. It's a connection that's on another level, one that I've never seen before. It's how every fan-artist relationship should be. And that's just talking about Tyler, because with Josh it's a different dynamic all-togerher and we still have inside jokes. They're nothing but thankful, and they show it every chance they get. It's a shame some people think otherwise

I think people confuse sarcasm with him being mean and if you're sensitive or don't understand sarcasm then it feels mean but he's actually being nice by making people feel better about public speaking which I have a fear of. So to each their own, they're not mean. They like to have fun and not be taken too seriously.

It’s amazing like mind blowing how specific Tyler’s people awareness he has, like I’ve seen so many stories where he will recognize fans or recognize something about a fan and it’s the coolest thing because it really makes him feel normal. Like the fact that he tries (at least some of the time when he’s interacting) to remember details about that one person just in case they happen to meet again.
Being a super sarcastic and blunt person myself, I understand the way he talks. I also understand that for people who don’t like sarcasm or aren’t used to it could consider him to be rude. It really just depends on the person.
I don't know why but this video made me sad. I always had this feeling of tolerance and love around them, and now it just, I don't know, kinda faded away. I still love their music though.

Always saw him like an introvert and sassy guy with "offensive" humour. But coming back from a ten months break and seeing this video, I just didn't like the way he treated people, even if he was only joking around. So yeah, not a big fan of his behaviour, but still in love with his voice and TØP music.
