My personal headcanon for why Living Liquid is in TEA, even when it isn't really relevant after its fight and doesn't even become part of Perfect Alexander, was because the Wandering Minstrel was really dehydrated and needed some water while writing the ballad.
Metal - Brute Justice Mode is an excellent song, i like how the saxophones make it sound like the Cruise Chaser and Brute are something like an oddly endearing superhero duo in spite the withered software noises as lyrics on the start.
Metal - Brute Justice is super duper inspired by Japanese Tokusatsu media! The one you might recognize is Power Rangers, but Tokusatsu includes lots of different masked hero-type shows, and the genre defines itself by its heavy use of practical effects. Brute Justice specifically is a reference to Voltron-style shows, where each of the individual heroes powers a robot that can then combine into one much bigger robot when they all work together. Its funny because Brute Justice is already a Voltron of all the robots from A6, but they take it a step further when Perfect Alex is made by combining Alexander, Brute Justice, and Cruse Chaser.
This medley starting off with the Locus theme being existential and a little thought-provoking and then before I realise what's happening I'm getting hit with onomotopeoia and "Gobbies gonna rise up, boom like thunder"
@@lucatiel2859 I actually beat TEA last month. I’ve been caught up for a while and can safely say Soken, Journeys, and The Primals have not disappointed in delivering the music.

ya know when I listen to the full progression of this song. It sounds like the different stages of the heroes journey. The beginning as they set out and their first taste of a truely stronger oppponent. Their first victory against said strong opponent. The rise of the BBEG and the heroes attempt at stopping them short only to fail. And finallyt the hero's final showdown with the BBEG after the obligatory training arc.
Considering Perfect Alexander is meant to be THE ultimate hero, capable of defeating any threat to the star- but testing you, to tell if you are capable of defeating the only threat he cannot defeat, being himself.. this is very fitting!
I haven't gotten up to this expansion so I have 0 context for why this goes from "Seeking the peace of reason ... reason to keep believing ... time turning on us always ...when falling back is better than simply falling back into pieces again" to "Crack thoom snap bam bim bangy zoom!"
bc they're two different boss themes from the raid series. TEA is the Ultimate associated with the Alexander raids, and Metal: Brute Justice Mode (which is the part you're referring to) is written in gobbiespeak, as it (as well as Metal) play during the final raid of the first two legs of the raid series. But to be honest, there's absolutely no context that can be given that would explain how Alexander goes from philosophical ramblings in a techno-beat, to gobbie death metal, to gobbie speedrapping.
The [STASIS LOOP] song is also between Brute Justice & Rise, which is a BGM according to both the game and the /bgm [sound] command. I don't believe this is a full BGM of the encounter as I did not catch the [STASIS LOOP]
(very minor nonspoilery spoilers) i love how all the songs are from the bosses point of view but i think its more than that. i think its their beliefs their purpose and answer. every song is about being lost to despair. with except for like 2 or 3 in hs and arr but then as you build hope in the world they start to become more bittersweet. i think its a very overlooked part of the narrative. its the games way of showing and not telling that you causing real change and giving people hope.
Go do an Extreme trial. Synced with a full group of 8. Even better if you're all blind first timers. Savages, at least the finale of each tier, is easily ten times as hard as that. Ultimates are easily just as hard as the most difficult mechanics in any Savages, for 17+ minutes and with very few rest periods. "Casual raid" groups easily take months to clear them even with guides.

If Locus really was about Living Liquid's mindset, he's automatically one of the deepest and most interesting characters in any FF game.

So many ways of greenscreening in ff. Possible even with just gpose but something like Nvidia filters are even easier.
