Its easy to do CG method and be sulfate free. I don't use alot of products to even allow buildup but in the past when I did experience that I just used apple cider vinegar and sometimes did herbal infusions with the vinegar or split the vinegar with herbal tea i have made.

i think it would help if you would twist the flat twists ends together and make that the bun if you don’t want to do extensions. i hope that makes sense lol.
Sulfate isn’t bad for everyone. I didn’t jump on that bandwagon and have been using it in my curls ever since I can remember. But it does dry out some people’s scalp and hair so it depends on the person really
I agree that SOME textures can withstand the sulfates but if you're already a DRY strand curly girl then you may not benefit as much. It's a moisture thing and everyone should use what works best for their hair.
