I am 13 years old i just turned 13 in early august my grand ma said to me "you are responsible for your own sin now stop with all this non-sense" So today September 6th 2016 I vow my heart to god I will stay loyal and follow his word.I deleted every song that is not gospel out of my i tunes and i am going to start listening to only gospel. I listen to 2 other songs, waging are by cece winans and smile by kirk Franklin and i played this song on my laptop and looked into the mirror and realized what i need to do i started reading the bible i prayed to god to forgive my sins and release me of any darkness and this was all today September 6th 2016 i am my own enemy i want things to change he knows what's best for... i want to be happpy

I’m a senior in high school, I have parents who have very high expectations of me. Recently I have been avoiding church because of all the sins I’m committing to numb or relive myself from the anxiety and stress I’m going through. I went to church today and I realized how much I missed it. God’s spirit was in me when I went in to the church and I just cried. I realized the pain I’m causing to Christ and how I just really need to give my life to him. But I’m still holding onto worldly substances. Please pray for me that I can finally let go and give my whole life to Jesus. Thank you...

I heard this song for the first time last week and it had me in tears. I'm now listening to it and I'm bawling. When you've given your all to everyone and then when you need them the most, no one is there for you, it hurts so much and this song is helping me to heal. Sometimes we are our worst enemy. We get into relationships we know have no future, but we do it anyway and when it fails that's when we remember Jesus. This song just hit home on so many levels. Whether it's relationship with a man or your family or friends, remember that you must be happy and fulfilled within yourself before you can let anyone in. No one can make you happy if you're not happy with yourself. To anyone that's going through something right now, I hope you find the strength to be happy and know that you deserve to be happy. I'm 17 years old. Never in my life have I wanted school more than anything. My senior prom was taken from me and possibly my graduation because of the corona virus. I'm going through depression and I heard this song. It touched me. Going through a relationship where they break up with you and leaving you stuck. "Was I not good enough?" I literally was tearing myself apart. Picking every little insecurity I had and tearing it up. I made myself feel worthless. Trying to fill a void and I couldn't. I turned to God. And this song, it made me realize that Jesus is Almighty. He makes everything better.

My testimony.....So this morning after thanking GOD for everything he's blessed me with, I started talking to God about an ongoing situation in my life where I'm making the same mistakes...I usually speak to God in my car so my radio is turned down. At the end of my prayer, I said, "I'm tired of praying about this. It just seems like nothing is changing anyway" and proceeded to turn up my radio....LOL.....The very end of this song was playing the chorus....I just shook my head, told GOD "YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME" LOL...But I told him, I heard him and am listening to him. So I came to work and searched the song because I've never heard it before. This song speaks volumes, so I'm going to work really hard to get out of my feelings and let God take the wheel. I literally just came from speaking to God. I was feeling so much regret from a decision I made last year and it was overwhelming me. I thought of this song and here I am. The Lord is alive and He is speaking.
Ive been struggling with that for a while now .and i realized today while i was reading my bible that i am only uphappy bc i won't accept what god had for me. I was so busy focusing on what i didn't have that i didn't even look at all the things i did have and all the blessing god will give to me. I decided to accept gods will for me and be happy for what god has given me before its gone.

Now many many years have passed, I found out that not only is He good for rescues, He is good for EVERYTHING. GOD IS MY PORTION;MY FRIEND TO WHOM I GO FOR EVERYTHING; HE HEARS MY EVERY UTTERANCE; HE ANSWERS EVERY PRAYER; HE HAS TAUGHT ME TO TRUST HIM IN EVERYTHING; AND MOST OF AL HE HAS TAUGHT ME WHAT LOVE IS AND HOW TO LOVE ALL PEOPLE, NO MATTER WHERE THEY ARE ON THEIR JOURNEY. But now, through all of the scrapes, bumps and scars; broken pieces His all consuming fire burns strongly and hot within our soul ; filling us with His Holy Spirit from top to bottom and over flowing on the people He places in our path. Your words to me were quite fulfilling and encouraging. Your relationship with Jesus is a solid one!..and not just a religious one. You have the direct connection. So keep doing your thing.

Sorry you have to go through that. It's all for a reason though. You definitely are "Good Enough" though. In fact, in the eyes of God YOU'RE BEYOND THAT. YOU ARE PRECIOUS IN THE SIGHT OF THE LORD. I am only 28 years old and I want to give up 2 days ago because I am going through a lot with my cousin that die in front of me at A concert in Houston that was the Travis Scott concert and this song is so uplifting and I pray every night and some time I think god is not answer my prayer but I see he is going I can pray to and like yesterday I was crying so bad and I started pray because I have not heard from my best friend that I always call and does she killed herself because she is Suicidal and she likes to cut her self and I told her about that I was crying so bad yesterday and I’m praying to God that he will answer my prayers so I can talk to her and she actually called me couple hours ago and when I got off the phone with her I was proud to hear her voice God has open door so I can speak with her and I pray that god can keep the door open for me...
When my brother died in 2022 I had a panick attack a few days after the funeral home. I was so weak and had no faith and strength, once I came back to the lord I found peace, following god built me back up piece by piece until I had the strength. He truly kept me. Thank you Jesus!
