The rat plague didn't necessarily make the weepers violent, they were begging for help whenever they grabbed you (it just so happens that they would also cough blood in your face while doing so. Ick.)
Henry Maccabee I haven't played the game in the last 2 years, so I don't really remember. But there were tons of endings, but the main are 3. In high chaos, you either save or kill Emily. Until you reach your goal you can either save or kill Samuel that betrays you at the beginning of the last mission. If killed, a grave will show in the final cut scene. In low chaos, you save Emily, but you can chose between sparing or killing the baldy. Also, in some missions, you can either save that general/duke or whatever the hell he is (that somebody tried to poison with whiskey). Also, the one you have to capture can either be killed directly or put into the electric chair. If I remember correctly, you could spare him if you don't let the chair on too much. This game is a masterpiece because you have so many roads to take and explore. I finished it around 10 times, but I loved the 0 kills one the best, because killing everybody is easy when you have a lot of arsenal and magic tricks, but how you hide your presence is very tricky and if done well, satisfactory.
There are four endings, two good and two bad. If you maintain low chaos you will get the golden age, if you end with low-but-almost-high chaos you will get a good-ish ending in which the plague persists. If you finish the game on high chaos Emily will become a tyrant, and if you kick her off a ledge you will end up dooming Dunwall entirely.
I remember playing the game in the first level, I didn´t know there were multiple endings depending on wether you kill people or not so I went full out and killed literally everyone in the level except the old lady... it kinda ruined the ending for me because I wanted the non-violent, happy ending but got the "bad" ending because I killed 70 people in the first level
Well the cannon ending is low chaos, however Corvo did kill people according to dialog and cut scenes from the second game who he did kill is left up to the player to decide.
completely forgot about Daud's story, the power struggle in his gang occurred during Corvo's imprisonment, but before Corvo was ever captured by the assassins, Daud saves Emily by imprisoning Delilah in the brigmore witches.
Yes it is correct, he basically caused the plague because he wants to get rid of the poor ppl but it got out of hand. If you choose the non lethal approach against the Lord Regent it'll reveal his intentions
SockPuppet89 btw, they didn't touch over it, but the outsider was once a teenage orphan, who was chosen by the void (basically the afterlife for bad people, good people stop existing) to become the outsider, an immortal watcher for the void. The outsider has been alive and was unseen for generations, believed to be a myth, until the events of dishonored captured his interests.
salame 269 In the mission Return to the tower, the non-lethal option has you fetching a confession audiograph made by the regent, who states that he did it. To get it, go to the broadcast control station near his bedroom
Okay so it's kinda accurate but there are a lot of inaccuracies in this, such as the fact that Hiram Burrows didn't declare himself lord regent, parliament did, and a host of other little problems in this. The whole thing with "Daud's whalers doubt him" didn't happen in the main game, unless I'm forgetting; that only happened in the knife of dunwall which takes place during the first few missions of Dishonored, long before Corvo opposes and spares Daud (canonically the true ending is low chaos, Corvo spared everyone)
Ik this video is quite old, but it just showed up today for me despite my love for Dishonored going back years and years, but this video was lazily done
I don't care how much you just want to pay for Dishonored 2 and not worry about spending time and money on the first Dishonored. Do not just watch this and ignore Dishonored. Please play the first Dishonored as its well worth it. I don't know how great a game it is but it's definitely one of my favorite games
Wow! this was the game i missed out on? this sounds so much more interesting then Dishonored 2! They actually tried to make it with complex realistic politics! unlike Dishonored 2 who just makes it seem complicated, but with simple as f^$k fairy-tail-bible logic and politics.
so why does this game have like 50 different ways to kill someone and like 2 ways to nonlethally take them out, yet the only way to actually beat it is to not kill anyone
Please please please do the NKS in three minutes I don't mean the tire 14 seasons I mean like the story of gabs Tony and Zero before joining NCIS and a quick bit what does series
you can go gun blazing or in this case cross bow blazing meaning that you would always get detected. In stealth you kill everybody without someone noticing you. PS check out my channel!!!!
you can choose to kill boyle, or sneak her to her husband who will secret boat her away and never to return. also, did you know? also boyle has 2 sisters and which color dress one youre suppose to target, the color is procedurally chosen each time you play that mission.
jay folk it wasn't her husband, he was a stalker/pervert that was obsessed with her and imprison her ("she will learn to love me. She will have all her life to learn to love me")
Oh shit, I just replayed this game recently before starting Dishonored 2 and I completely missed that. All the nonlethal takedowns of targets seem way worse than actually offing them. Pendeltons get their hair shaved and tongues ripped out before going into servitude in their own mines, Campbell becomes a beggar and eventually a weeper. Rough stuff. Except Daud. He gets off easy if you don't ice him.
This is a list of things that are incorrect, or misleading. Be warned this is incredibly nitpicky. 1. It is the right word, but saying Hiram framed Corvo implies he actually planted evidence, when all he did was say it was Corvo. 2. 0:47 They gave him tools to bust himself out, nobody actively came to the prison and got him out. 3. He kills the Pendleton twins, nobles related to one of the loyalists, not a story changing detail, but a detail nonetheless. Not to mention this is only after Corvo kills the High Overseer Campbell, leader of religious faction "The abbey of the everyman" 4. 1:28 Vice-regent? 5. 2:10 A loyalist member 6. 2:12 That's just outright false, there is no take over. 7. 2:15 After being saved, his Whaler's (The name of his assassin's) simply happen to find him by their base. 8. 2:20 That happens at the end of the Knife of Dunwall DLC which precedes the Brigmoire Witches DLC. Corvo fights Daud at the end of the Brigmoire witches DLC. Basically, this happened, though there is more to it, this is confined to 3 minutes after all, but your timeline is fucked. 9. 2:20 Animation implies there were multiple Whaler's involved in the rebellion, when in fact there was only one, Bille Lurk his second in command. 10. 2:28 Animation implied he kills Daud, canonically he does not. I didn't have anything to say about his methods of dealing with other enemies, but Daud is too important to ignore. 11. 2:38 This is wrong, and it doesn't even make sense with your own history of events. If there had actually been a rebellion from the lower loyalist members, why would he be killing them? Regardless he actually has a choice as to whether or not to spare city watch members at the loyalists base, by way of a new device created by the joint efforts of Piero Joplin, a loyalist, and Anton Sokolov. (The supplier of technology for the lord regent) I have no intention of rewriting that, but I just realised you skipped the return to the hounds pits pub, maybe. I honestly can't tell, which should make it clear how much of a mess this part of the video is. This video was very lacking in my eyes. I understand there is a 3 minute timeline, but despite calling it the "Dishonored Chronology", you cut out almost all of the DlC's, save that snippet of KoD for whatever reason, and Dishonored 2. Also not sure where the stuff about some loyalist takeover came from, especially when it contradicts other parts of this video, kinda feels like multiple people wrote this without actually reading what the others wrote :/ Not sure why Corvo is maskless for so much of this too. Let's cut this bastard up for the hagfish!
Do you think you get your own squad after what happened last night?
Fairly sure Daud's story happened before he captured Corvo in the end.
corvo kills them? I don't remember such thing.
@Grim reaper nope.
hahaha optional mission
John Shepard no, harley said he murdered the brothers, and regent.
@@ohvuhm And Lady Boyle
@@eminkilicaslan8945 He didn't kill lady boyle.
I love that you mentioned all 3 endings. That's what I really had high expectations for. Good job !

Ian Friskus
I have never seen the low to high ending ever ! :O thanks for the tip.
MrBiky there is even more numerous variations of all endings
Corvo probably stayed low chaos but he killed the spy and went maniac at the pendelton mission
Corvo:where is my daughter, tell me or you will get brutally murdered and become a pile of ashes
The loyalists didn't imprison burrows and a couple of other things are wrong
there's also stuff missing...
Actually, they did. . . . .
M4tty B3e Actually he didn't kill any main targets except for the regent and Havelok
+Kopeke Nuva Regent was as per Dis2 info (and later formally executed by Corvo) while Havelock was either killed by him or committed suicide.
Kopeke Nuva No see this guy says Burrows wasn't imprisoned by the loyalists, he was.

I mean the canon ending states that Corvo didn't kill anybody
ΛNOMALY prod there's strong evidence pointing towards corvo killing the twins when he was rescuing Emily.
Well the cannon ending is low chaos, however Corvo did kill people according to dialog and cut scenes from the second game who he did kill is left up to the player to decide.
if u read the cannon book you know he kills quite a few people
I'm talking about the assassination targets, dishonored 1 canon ending is that corvo killed his targets in a non-lethal, probably having a low chaos
He kills some of them like the Pendleton twins
didn't daud live
Canonically though because of Dishonored 2, Corvo spares him as it is all low chaos.
Fledequation you have the option to kill him
Death of the outsider
Not only was Daud spared but so was Lady Boyle. This has a few canonical errors in it
@@Mrgaunt1 i think the bon non lethal way for her is more violent than killing her you give her to a guy that rapes her fucked up choice if you ask me

Please do the S.T.A.L.K.E.R series next.

you should do the titanfall storyline in 3 minutes
Michael Murn bwahahahahahaha *breaths in* bwahahahahahahahaha

Michael Murn as much as I love the series, but titanfall 1 story was flatter than an Bieber's tits. Lol
wow this is the good stuff! now do the second game!
wow finally, one of these made sense the whole way through
what? Hiram Burrows made the rat plague? uhhh is that correct because I'm a huge fan of dishonored and this is the first I've heard of that
Yes it is correct, he basically caused the plague because he wants to get rid of the poor ppl but it got out of hand.
If you choose the non lethal approach against the Lord Regent it'll reveal his intentions
You don't send rats to kill poverty. You send a bigger check.
Sam Pappas I don't think he did. They must've got something wrong.
its true look at the wiki or play the game
Get the confession audiograph, put it in the player, then listen...just listen
what about the plot in Dishonored 2?
Just play the game?
I WON'T TELL YOU! BUY THEM BOTH, THEY ARE GREAT
I have played it but in the video they completely skipped it
The video is titled dishonored. Not dishonored 2. What did you expect?
did you even see when this video was uploaded???
I have been waiting for this for so long, and here it is
This is really helpful as I am currently playing the second game but did not touch the first one. Thank's man!

Love the spud heads!
Thank you for acknowledging dishonoured
What a fuck load of information, I wish I had the attention span to follow this, this serie is great.
Don't bother, it's badly researched. Play the games, far better than presented.
The whalers rebeled before corvo was captured. Regent was not captured by the loyalists anyhow we play, he was captured by the guards (low chaos)
When did the assassins overthrow daud? I didn't see it anywhere in the game help
I guessed Dishonored 2 would push the boundaries of 10 minutes
omg i been waitinf for this
You totally forgot to mention Corvo going off to the Isles to find a cure before the game started.
Having played through DisHonored four times completely, I can say this is mostly accurate.
nice video !
You guys messed up the chronology. The rebellion in Daud's merry band of assassin's happened while Corvo was still in jail
You missed the brigmore witches. And the dlc happens along side the main game not after corvos poisoning.
It only talks about the main game mate.
You don't think it would be important to mention that corvo was the empresses bodyguard? That's a pretty important detail.
