      It does the job well, it was nice to be able to keep track and visualize what you were talking about as you went. I probably would have lost focus if it were just you talking to the camera.

    If plants can adapt why couldn't we specialize grow anywhere and each person that takes the time learn to adapt to listening to plants when they say ouch?
    I mean.,...technically....they don't hear sleep eat like us....they do but...different.....what cycle does the plant have? Can it be a swamp plant and desert plant? What would it be if I added half the nutrients over years not a year .....
    Kinda scary to know that poison ivy could have been so much more if batman hadnt made history....what if for years things grow different because you accept responsibility for growing your experiment?

    Kevin. You have so much good advice. I'm a specialized landscaper. Know enough to be dangerous. I have what I have for knowledge and I understand I'm nothing to you. If you actually read this you'll figure out that sometimes as you say money isn't the real. Gardening isn't the garden. However when you have the material makes things different. Would you accept the challenge budget in your favor would you come out and see and learn something that proves you can make better come of nothing....
    Not always all those things. If I followed trnd and show you I know dirt and everyone buys it did I do anything good? No....we made more things happen. If you are front lines doing and have this info maybe it's not just a here and there. People. Our people. Your people the people that read the messages....the people that are product. If your product isn't a thing...why you doing it?

    I see RUclips as being a way to build an audience not necessarily as the main revenue stream. So like you outlined offer products and services to your audience and use the videos as a way to warm them up so they become your direct customers.

  • @iangutgesell1931
    @iangutgesell1931 2 года назад

    If I say enough people might see that you are correct. Things can happen anywhere if you have the right set up. However. The big thing your missing is adaptivity. How do your plants adapt different. You have an unlimited growing season throw out all these possibilities. Not once have you taken something proven to adapt and make it adaptable because the plant naturally adapts. I didn't get into growing plants because I watched the channel. I watched the channel to know my plants would adapt and with rediculous success.

    It seem like the journey to MONITIZED is even a challenge. It seems like you have to go multi- platform or contantly engage and upload. Using social media as a "commercial" for the goods and services you offer seems to be the way to go!

    • @kevinmespiritu
      @kevinmespiritu  2 года назад +4

      It's tough! I'm not even monetized on this channel yet. Definitely best to use it as your acquisition point, and not an end in and of itself

    • @CoconutPete
      @CoconutPete Год назад +1

      @@kevinmespiritu funny thing is, technically anyone could start making money on RUclips with less than the YT monetization requirements and probably more. From what I've seen RUclips pretty much pays peanuts if your goal is ad revenue only. On a different note I once launched a business from a kindle ebook alone and went from $10 to six figures in about 2 months... it was insane! This was back when kindle first took off so doubtful it would still be as effective tho

    I'm a wee bit confused. Did you say that you make about 82% to 93 of your revenue from youtube and that you could throw that in the trash can and still do well? That sounds counterintuitive especially when I keep hearing that people make pennies from youtube {videos}. OR is it that you're indirectly making that percentage from them.?

    Hi Kevin - great stuff. the writing it out thing is a little difficult to follow. You say "this thing over here..." and it's not entirely clear what you're talking about. some clearer graphic would help, and some clearer way of pointing out what you're talking about would also help. Like I said, great stuff keep up the good work. L

    I love the added white board. Why? Well, I am excruciatingly visual - which is MY handicap (I don't generally need picture books, though - in case you were wondering :) ) But in this format, when you are referencing one area of the board for a specific point, I could still look at the other areas of the board already completed and connect the dots. I am not a content creator - but I love this stuff. It's real, it's realistic, it's insightful - and while it may be a buzz kill for someone who is fantasizing about entering this arena, it kinda does the opposite for me. It weirdly inspires me. I don't need sunshine and lollipops at this stage of my life - just the real deal. Or as close as I can get. Thanks Kevin - love this extra ring side view.

    1 challenge. Come find out normal real. When you figure out compost not the technical shit. The down home real. When the customer means more and your work per person means more. Why wouldn't I show people how to grow without taking on a genius idea like landscaping so I can figure out dirt but I could also know dirt well enough to know that the plants that are wanted are what I could put in. However if I put in a lilac bush and the customer wanted a hosta...did I do my job because I went with what could thrive for the area instead of the hasta that has a resilience and then can be chopped and bread further through splicing ....why shouldn't I splice the hastas instead of giving opportunity to something that is less resilient to the effects of nature due to zoning environment?

  • @iangutgesell1931
    @iangutgesell1931 2 года назад

    I challenge you to one day of making reality. Not a customer. Not a way of anything else. When you get down to brass tacks start from the dirt up and work the reality not what you been told.

    Hey Dude! I’ve been thinking about this a ton. I’d love the opportunity to monetize an engaged audience, but building the audience is brutal haha. I’m a product person and I’ve been trying to put together a strategy to reach out to content creators and partner with them to bring product to their audience. Do you feel like your typical RUclipsr would be open to that or understand the value? I think you’re much more entrepreneurial than most RUclipsrs. Or maybe I’m selling them short.

    • @kevinmespiritu
