I came to Denmark 1974 as a 10-year-old from ex-Yugoslavia. My aunt had a MM LP record that I borrowed, when I heard her songs it was pure balm for my soul. It's hard to explain, but her songs had a soothing effect on me in a country that was hostile to anything foreign.
