Hey, I bought one just like yours and I'm going to hit the road with it this week. I'm liking this bike. Congratulations on the video, it was really good!
great review with a neutral point of view! i've had an '09 c50 for the last 2 years. put over 12k miles on it in this timeframe. Been on weekend camping trips in eastern TN, day trip cruises, and simple commuting around town. bike is currently at 19k miles and running with zero issues. Besides normal maintenance on brakes/oil/tires, one thing I love about this bike is the shaft drive (practically maintenance free, with the exception of swapping out shaft gear oil every 12k-15k miles, which is not hard to do at all). Comfortable up to 75-80 MPH on the highway. the windshield is a HUGE perk when riding in wind/rain :). also, it's liquid-cooled (whereas some other cruisers are air-cooled)
Great bike, mine is 2007. The rear shifter is kind of useless and upshifts as well but the front shifter works the same way that every other bike. I ride it everywhere. Fuel injected and smooth.
People keep saying this is a great bike to "start off with" like its some 150cc moped. This is an 805cc Cruiser with all the bells and whistles...it's a great bike no matter what your age or experience. This bike comes in all engine sizes, up to 1800cc. 800cc is good on gas and long distance, plenty of power and only about 600 pounds.
For a first bike yes it’s a pretty good bike. But you will grow out of it very quick. From a dirtbike to this it’s a big change. This doesn’t have a a ton of power it’s more of a relaxed chill ride type of bike.
260 and 6ft myself. 2006 Boulevard is my first bike, had it about a year and it’s perfect for a starter. I don’t get the “grow out of it” comments yet, it’s got plenty of power (haven’t tried highway) but time will tell. Definitely recommend.
Beautiful bike.. I'm kicking around getting one.. I have had approximately 25 bikes.. from vstar 650 to electra glide.. that said getting older and how does this ride with passenger at 60 or 65 mph.. thanks be safe
@@Mr2moto ok I will let you know when I just have to ask my dad and I gotta wait till I get my dirt bike. Can I get a shoutout on your next video and can you sub to my channel please. Love the videos!
I just bought this same bike, 2006 suzuki c50 last week. My first bike in 30 years. Lots of fun, first ride was 55 miles home then rode it today in the rain to go to the shop and put new tires and full service.

The rear pedal on the left side is to upshift. It's a heel to toe shifter.
I know I learned it after the fact lol but thank you bro 💪
@@Mr2moto yeah I should have figured you would have your uncle probably told you afterwards. Keep up the good content! 👌
I hate them! I always cut the back part off and use it like a toe only one. 😂

280lbs, 6feet tall. Will this be a good first bike? Only dirt bike before.

The windshield is what makes this bike nice in the high wind and rain yet a lot of people take it off cause they "dont like how it looks".

That’s awesome man that’s a lot of bikes!! And tbh it rode very well with passengers. Very Comfortable. It felt like passenger wasn’t even there

Hi, this bike is fitting up to which driver height?
most likely 5'9 and up to be honest
I'm 6.1 and fit my 2005 perfectly.
I'm 5'7 and I fit good.
i bought mine from an old guy that was 5 foot 3 inches and 70 years old. I'm about 6 foot. Its's a great bike no matter your height.
Did this guy just say how do u down shift ? Let alone ride 2 up ? Hahahah
Im not use to this bike ! But it is very comfy!! 😂
You don’t use the heel to shift down
I know i know i noticed the mistake after lol
Yep, cruisers are great for cruisin....
Lol you are right!! Its a nice bike
🔥💯💪🏽
💯💯💪💪
How big are you?
I am 5’8 135 pounds
Can't figure out how to use the heel-toe shifter and talking about watching TV on the windshield? I'm glad my daughter isn't dating this guy.
