  • This video demonstrates how to compare several groups to one group using ANOVA with planned contrasts in SPSS. In this example, three levels of an independent variable will be compared to a control group. Both REGWQ and Tukey post hoc tests are performed.

    Could you expand on what test to choose in what situation? Normally, if one has a clear hypothesis beforehand, you would go contrast! Datamining without hypotheses would require post-hoc, right?
