The second saddest moment in Expos history ( beyond the death of the team in 2004). This uniform change was the beginning of the end. Not even the cap so much. It was the hideous bland gray jerseys instead of the vibrant powder blue that they had worn for the entire 1980's.
Although the blue cap is nice, the tri color cap is still THE Expos hat today.

I thought the new uniforms looked great! Old ones looked "Mickey Mouse".
