HEXA was the car which transformed TATA's Image. It is a solid body on frame SUV / MUV whatever we call it. With rear wheel driving, optional 4x4, body on frame structure I see it more of a SUV than MUV, except the body shape from the side. Extremely spacious, with good amount of boot space, quality interior, Torquey engine - all in all it was a car which should have been in market in BS6 form. Hexa had good rear wheel articulation, decent approach and departure angle too. The suspension set up was so nicely tuned for on road and off road both.

I have an August 2017 Tata Hexa XE. It has done about 26400 kilometres during the last five years ( till 03/11/2022). All the driving was in city/highway. Last week I noticed a crack in the silencer and took the car to Tata Service Centre in Bhopal. Detailed inspection revealed four large cracks in the two portions/parts of the Tail Pipe Assembly Post Silencer and one large crack in the Assembly Main Silencer. I also learnt that this was a common problem in Tata Hexa due to which design of silencer has been changed and now comes with a single exhaust. I am surprised as to why Tata Motors hasn't recalled models with faulty parts for inspection/ replacement. I was plain lucky to have discovered the cracks by chance & replaced before complete breakdown somewhere enroute. It cost me Rs 19742/- including parts & labour. If you own a Tata Hexa please get the entire Silencer assembly checked for cracks as a precautionary measure.

Maaaaan, i drove Hexa. I defeated fortuner, XUV 700, Verna top model. When I was at 170kmph there was no vibration at all. It simply says " cool guys, no matter of situation is, take rest i will get u to the destination " . It is a flight on the road 💪. It's a Rock Bhai in cars. Waiting for monster relaunch.
Still it failed.Based on Aria,only where I can see these now are in hillstations, as taxis. But comfort was next level. Back in that time , took test drive of auto version. Was very impressed.
Just check the service history..Bauhut log meter back karke bechte hain..as itni badi gaadi koi bhi 1 lakh kms aaram se chalata hai...so be careful and cautious
The owner seems such a gullible newbie at 5:10 he mentioned the the plastic cladding is weak I'm a 110 kg guy and have put pressure on the cladding since 2017(not just to get in but to clean the roof as well) and there's no such issue in my hexa. Also why would the side step touch the road/bump since the ground clearance is so much this. I have side steps installed too but it never gave a problem even when my car fell into a 2 feet ditch while backing it up. The underbody protection hits the ground first. Only issue with side step is that it increases the width by a few CMs on both sides.
Position of Ganeshji placed has blocked the odometer, trip meters, instantaneous milage, vehicle temperature, time, gear indicator and driving mode and the owner says its not a problem for him. He has an illegal back bar applied and expects the exhaust not suffer any damages. He wants more space even after putting in 2 bags+7 Seating. Aman Bhai knows about the car much more than the owner. He highlights the major issues like the heavy clutch etc.
