@@mackenzieholtz1116 there are other ways to build credit! I’ve been taught my whole life that credit cards are useless the way you’re taught to use them, they’re basically made to create more debt. I’d rather be homeless again than have to use a credit card in all honestly
Please don’t get a credit card! They are more likely to harm you financially than anything else. It’s like student loans but in a different font tbh, at least that’s how I see it. It’s really up to you at the end of the day but if you do get a credit card, never use it for big/expensive purchases (it’s the opposite of helpful in those cases!) I mean, you really don’t have to trust a random 17yr old but this is just what I’ve learned from the adults in my life 🤷🏽♂️

Don’t get a credit card, debt is a horrible rabbit hole to get into
it’s a horrible thing to get if you don’t manage it. but you need to build credit to even rent an apartment. so just be smart!
