@@ProfessorSynth Doctors are far too overrated for my liking. I might see a witch doctor though if you can refer me to one that knows what a FFBF is!, Cheers
@@ProfessorSynth Actually Rob I was making a very obtuse reference to the bathroom scene at the end of 2001 A Space Odtssey. The sound effects remind me a lot of the texture from that movie. I have a FFB too and have used it as a series of resonant filters with feedback feeding white noise. Instant space choir Cheers
Hello Rob, I have a question. I just acquired a 914 from behringer and I have the problem, that the volume drops really low when using it. Is the problem, that I am using a mono eurorack jack to patch into the input of the module? Are you using a stereo pair of 914‘s btw? Sounds really good. I just find myself in the position, where I am thinking I have got a faulty module. Thank you mich in advance!
Hi Lucas. No your module is not faulty. This is how the filter bank is and is as per the original Moog version. Lots of people report this as an issue. If using with other sound sources I usually feed the output to a mixer and have its channel set higher than the others. Alternatively I use a simple amplifier. I have this one. www.yorkmodular.co.uk/products/vbst-variable-gain-signal-booster-amplifier-2hp
Fixed Filter Bank Forever! FFBF......I like your toilet sounds! Cheers
Thank you. You may need to see a doctor
