Love mine, now at 336,000 kms and recently fully mechanically rebuilt, not that it really needed it, but want another 10 years of trouble free motoring.

Just bought my old one back! (2014 4x4 DSG 2.0tdi, elegance Outdoor) Now at 185k and had been badly neglected. It’ll take a bit of work, but I think it’ll be worth it. 1st thing is a timing belt/water pump change then a driveshaft coupling/Donut. A transmission flush and fluid/filter too. We’ll see what’s needed after that when I start driving it. Excited!

One of the best cars.. But underrated

Not mentioned on here is that 2015 to 2017 models came with the updated EA288 diesel engine which was Euro 6 and consequently ULEZ compliant. Top of the range was the Outdoor SEL with Sat Nav, Start /Stop and heated front screen. The 140 and 170ps models were discontinued due to the ‘diesel gate’ scandal and were recalled. The 2015-2017 models came with the 150ps engines which are quieter and slightly more frugal on fuel.

Drove 2 of these as company cars, a white 17 plate almost identical as the one presented and a grey 13 plate pre facelift. Done around 150k between the two. Both been driven mostly motorway miles with around 20 percent of ofroad on grassland ( solar parks ). Only got stuk once and even then managed to get it out with a bit of pushing and digging. The 2l diesel has only one bug bear, the EGR valve, driven at low RPM will clog it up, poor quality fuel will cause an EGR MIL as well. Comfortable on long drives and loaded with tiny little quirks to make your driving experience as pleasant as possible. A well thought machine, I enjoyed every mile driven. If i had the funds, I would buy one for EV conversion.

Best small suv Jdpower survey 2018.
They stopped making them in 2017.
    Brilliant car. I have one.
Probably one of the worst mistakes Skoda made when they ceased production.
May I offer some advice for those with the DSG gearbox.
Every 40,000 miles get the oil (and filter, if fitted) changed.

Rear seat’s fiddly to release! It’s just taken less than a minute to remove all 3!

Had 2, and looking to replace with a low mileage 16 or 17 L&K model - it is an awesome car that really can’t be faulted

I really like these and really fancy one as a second vehicle but almost every one ive seen has 'zinc inclusions', paint blisters and rust around the bottoms of the doors, rear arches, inside the rear doors and even the scuttle panel. Even cars that are only 3 years old seem to be rotting out.

Sadly it’s true but overall as 4x4 Yeti owner after 7 years I still love this car and have fun to drive.
