Schichtfleisch! This is an old German recipe traditionally made with pork neck meat. I remember trying it years ago and it was quite good! I think it's time for me to make some.
Thank you very much Chuck, great meal with almost no carbs. Trying to stay away from carbs is becoming easier the more I educate myself, but cheat days are also fun.
Nice!!! I saw a similar recipe on a German RUclips channel, didn't understand a single word, but watched every second of it, as I did with your video. I think I might've added some Chipotle season. Nicely Done. Thanks for sharing. 😎.
Thank you for watching. The great thing about cooking it you can always make any changes you would like. If you cook it the same every time food would be boring.
Never saw it done like that before. Never even thought it could be done. 35 degrees would be nice today. It is below zero here for the next 3 days. That sure looked good, Dan.. Leftovers in between a couple of slices of bread would be great as well. Thank you for sharing your recipe with us, Dan
Thank you, it is like cooking 15 center cut pork chops at once. You have to put the onions between them so that the meat doesn't totally fall apart when removing it. Plus they taste great. Stay warm.
I got way too emotionally vested in this video. First i was saying "no, no, use all of the onions!" Then, "i can't frickin believe he's not gonna put.... oh good....he Is gonna put bacon on the top." Lol i was taking that way too seriously.
Thank you very much, it really did turn out great. And yes I would have hated myself if I had not put the bacon on the top. Glad that you enjoy the video.

Braving the cold weather Bravo !,
Living in Indiana sometimes you have to shovel a little snow to get outside and cook. Thank you very much for watching.

Yea I am kinda bad about that, it is usually getting dark by the time I get done. Thank you for watching the video and commenting.

My only suggestion would be to show more of the food being plated up at the end of the video. Great job!
