I own the same vette shown here. 6000 original miles and a NCRS judged top flight vette. Even has the cb/cassette radio. All factory paper work
Saw a brand new identical looking 1982 Corvette to this one in the showroom at a Chevy dealer in Chattanooga 38 years ago while waiting for my 1980 Z28 to be serviced. Absolutely beautiful car and the condition of this one looks like it was just driven off the showroom floor. This car looks "badass" as you said but sadly they weren't "fast".
The 1982 Corvette went 0-60 mph in 8.1 seconds and the quarter-mile in 15.9 seconds at 86 mph and the Crossfire fuel injection made them next to impossible to hot rod for more power. Just a set of headers and a Marvin Miller nitrous oxide system costing a little over $300 back then and my 1980 Z28 ran high 13's!

Last year of the C3. That looks to be the collector edition by the stripes and rear hatch. Pretty low #s and only year C3 with the Crossfire and hatch.
Nice lines but they need an engine swap/Resto Mod to make it a real sports car
the collectors edition came in automatic only it will never be a sports car

Why? Mine is so MINT, I'm actually afraid to drive it around....too many IDIOTS out there driving around. A "restored" Corvette Convert is fine with me. I'm in
western Oregon, near Salem.
