Nice cover! I tried this with my Bass and I made sure that it was properly in tune however when I started playing it the pitch was higher than the bass in this video and the original song. Is there something I’m missing?
1:04-1:12 isn't quite right. It should slide on the first few notes, and then you include an extra phrase instead of a pause near the end. There are a few other wonky parts too, but that's the one that stands out the most.
so, you do it tuning all strings a half-step down, right? the original is in F so need the Eb for the dominant 7th and all other intervals suggest that...
You need to get that Eb, so you can play It with all strings half step down as in video, or play on drop d or other tuning. Doesn't really matter, just personal preference

You could see that the string that is above of from some string is repeating in 5 fret. Like D (2 string) A(3 string)-A#-H-C-C#-D (same as second string's notr) E(4 string)-F-F#-G-G#-A(same as third string's note)-A#-H And etc. I guess you know that but ok P.S. guitar's H string a bit different

The tuning in this video is half step down, so you should try to tune your bass to Eb Ab Db Gb or D# G# C# F#(same thing)
