Been running mine for over a year and a half. I have the basic non-Bluetooth version. Fantastic filter. It used to come with two sponges and the pre-filter sponge. Leaving out extra media keeps the cost down. A lot of us prefer to customise media anyway. Just make sure to leave the top basket empty. This serves as the impeller guard. Something people can miss if they don't read the instructions. 😊
I think it would be risky, the water flow might not be consistently the same in each pipe. If you were to drill one tank so it flows into the other it would work
@@GupPi_3.14 Haha yes this is a bit like a tidal wave, have you seen the Ultramax, it’s like the baby to this one but it’s really really good, comes in a 1000, 1500, 2000 if you have a look on my channel you’ll see a white planted tank, that’s run on the Ultramax 👍🏻
@@GupPi_3.14ahh well I guess you could run it at the lower speed and on wave mode, not sure if you’ve seen the options on the app. Plus you could put the outlets at either side 😊
@@motherofaquatics as you'll know fluval roma is bottom tank drain ... its way under powered inlet outlet together ... only a fluval 307 ... the filter has no chance ... but oh well back to the drawing board till I take down my breader tank
@brianhaig1971 Oh yeah those tanks can be a pain to upgrade, unless of course you make amendments to the lid so that you can have filter pipes over the top

Could this filter be used for filtering 2 tanks? Looking at using this in the Fishroom I’m designing
